My backyard
I Love it here in my little corner of California
#saturdaymorning
Does anyone remember little bags of Folgers coffee candy usually by the cashier in gas stations? My husband thinks I’m having a moment cause we can’t find evidence of them. I can picture the little bag.
Back from the city. Follow up from the procedure on the 14th didn’t go as well as I hoped. Some sort of build up in my leg. Ultrasound was uncomfortable this time, but tech was as gentle as she could be.
When she called the Dr in asap, I weirded out.
Gotta go back on Monday, sent me home with a sample pack of Eliquis, good for a week, until I can get it together to get the 30 day prescription.
Not excited about blood thinners.
The Old Guy is not excited to have to take another day off work.
My flatbread/pizza experiment. Crust came out good. Use what you have when you can.
But I still want 🥞
Tomorrow we journey down the mountain for an ultrasound to confirm the laser procedure worked correctly.
The gas is gonna crush us, but it is what it is.
Shuffling credit cards to see if a trip to one of the big grocery stores (foodmaxx or similar) is in the books for a few essentials. I flippen ran out of flour and didn’t realize it until I already activated the yeast. Making some flatbreads for dinner…it’s gonna be a science project cause I’m using the small amount I have.
Maybe splurge on some pancake mix.
It’s the little things.
For those of you who don’t or cant read DJT’s Truth Social post, we asked @grok to find it and read it in its entirety. The first couple words are muffled, but you can read that yourselves.
A couple years ago we had a pumpkin patch. One renegade vine went up the tree and produced a 🎃. Our grandson was so excited.
It’s not the pancakes I was craving, but I do with what I have.
Air fried Uncrustables will suffice.
