My wife received a phone call during our tenth wedding anniversary dinner and the moment she heard the voice on the other end, she dropped her glass.
I had never seen her look so frightened. She excused herself, walked outside and returned pretending nothing had happened. Just before we left, the waiter handed me an envelope.
“Sir, the woman who called your wife asked me to give you this.”
Inside was a photograph of my wife standing beside a little boy I had never seen before. On the back, someone had written: “Your wife has been hiding a son.”
When I asked her who the boy was, she stared at me for several seconds before whispering, “I promised his father I'd never tell you.”
I thought that was the worst secret I could uncover that night.
I was wrong.
When we got home, I opened the drawer where we kept our marriage documents and found a second marriage certificate bearing my wife's name.
The husband listed on it wasn't me.
And the date of that marriage was three years after our wedding.

Education matters to some people, but character, emotional maturity, respect, and shared goals matter just as much. A degree can open doors, but it doesn't automatically make someone a good partner

There’s no blessing in wealth that comes from destroying others. Make your money, but keep your conscience clean.
Life is not easy, and everyone wants to make money and live a better life.
But no matter how desperate you are to become rich, never let money turn you into a person who harms others.
There is no pride in gaining wealth through someone else's pain, tears, or suffering.
Work hard, be patient, stay honest, and trust the process.
Even if you start small, let your success come from your own sweat, sacrifice, and determination.
It is better to sleep with a peaceful heart and an empty pocket than to sleep with a full pocket and a guilty conscience.
Money comes and goes, but the pain you cause others can last a lifetime.
Never destroy someone's life just to build yours.
Hustle with integrity, treat people with kindness, and remember that true success is not just about how much money you have, but also about how you got it.
May we all find honest ways to make money, grow in life, and succeed without becoming the reason someone else suffers.
Make money, but never lose your humanity in the process.

It's crazy how, on a random day, we met and you instantly became everything to me. And now, I couldn't imagine my life without you. Overnight, you became my world and my best friend. I just wanted to say that meeting you on that day was one of the best days of my life………
Imagination wan wound me 😩😭

Adulthood is a never-ending list of responsibilities. Tonight, we choose rest without guilt. Monday can wait; even responsible people need a break.

One thing about adulthood is that you can spend the whole day doing chores, running errands, and sorting things out only to realise you still have things left to do.
And somehow, Monday is already waiting around the corner.
Please, let us enjoy this Saturday night in peace.
After everything these eyes have seen, may they live long enough to witness the beautiful things we've been praying for.
Tbh, sometimes my mind dey pity my eyes because these eyes don see plenty things. The same eyes wey don cry, see pain, and witness betrayal. Yet, my mind keeps praying for these eyes to see greatness and witness the grace of God wey dey come. 🙏🏿
