There’s a difference between finding it funny because the LIs might look a little out of place to some wearing these outfits for the practice (which I’d argue is part of the point they’re making, showing how Qigong can be incorporated into everyday life) and ridiculing the movements themselves.
Maybe I’m being too woke for some, but a lot of the reactions are coming across as (un)intentionally culturally dismissive. Considering how casually Sinophobia can manifest in these spaces, I really think some people should maybe reflect on their comments (yes, even if it’s unintentional).
