A rant: Part 1.)
Art is what sets humans apart from animals. If you don't value art and culture, then you might as well be an animal, only living for survival and nothing more. As much as society requires engineers, construction workers, and doctors, society requires artists.
Part 2.) Why are film, media, and music industries so large and sucessful? Because art and the creative is an essential piece of our lives. What is life worth living for if not for concerts, theater, sports, amusement parks, dancing with friends, or watching a movie with family?
Part 3.) Culture and art is crucial to our humanity. Even the earliest of human civilizations understood this. Yet it is highly undervalued by many who may not recognize the impact other human's artistc expression has had on their own lives. #supportartists
