This is how you bring the next wave into web3, not with a tutorial, but with something they already want to make. Show people what's possible. An avatar that can own, earn, and live on-chain, and the "crypto" part just happens. Quietly. In the background.

Most projects launch a promise. We’re launching a platform that already survived beta. Degen Bear Experiment goes live Tuesday. The bears are done testing. Now we hunt. Mint. Burn. Pray. 🐻

nobody warned me about how addictive Claude Code is.. a month ago I had ZERO coding background. like genuinely hated looking at code, screens full of syntax made my eyes glaze over fast forward to now im sleeping late every night, spending 5-6 hours a day just building stuff on it turning point is once you actually know what you want to build, it stops feeling complicated and starts feeling like a game you can’t put down in just one month i went from.. this is too complex for me to okay just one more feature and i’ll sleep never in my life did i think i’d say this but… im actually loving code now???

the trenches need a Roaring Kitty, someone who finds a coin, does the research, holds with conviction, and builds community around a thesis used @Helius by @mert to build buyscan.net and help find him. enter any Solana token, see how much they're buying, and how long they've been holding the 8-second game is over, this is the tool for the ones who want to play it differently buyscan.net

You can now choose which AI models power your builds on Poof Swap models from your chat settings or user card. Want opus for everything? go for it. Want to optimize for speed and cost? pick a lighter model. Different models for different tasks, whatever works for you.

This is true and this also not true at all Memecoins didn’t just change crypto. They broke venture math. It’s a poorly kept secret that most VC interest in crypto was never ideological - it was about liquidity. Crypto didn’t invent a cypherpunk future; it invented the shortest path to liquidity events in financial history. Before Pump-style launches, retail gambling lived in airdrops and token launches. That behavior has now been fully productized. Liquidity is instant, distribution is memetic, and upside is front-loaded. As a result, no one cares if a perps DEX on Berachain launches a token. The market has moved on before VCs can. The downstream effect is obvious: fewer meaningful upside opportunities for venture, fewer LPs willing to allocate, and ultimately less capital flowing onchain. Only a handful of launches or acquisitions matter each year now. The curve has steepened. At the same time, regulation quietly pushed crypto in a different direction. Under the previous administration, companies like dYdX were forced to contort themselves into decentralization to survive. The result was an objectively worse product than what could have existed otherwise - but it also supported an entire onchain ecosystem of builders, integrations, and financial primitives. Compare that to Kalshi. It’s a centralized company, full stop. Not philosophically - structurally. There is no onchain requirement, no composability, no downstream ecosystem. And because it doesn’t need to exist onchain, it doesn’t create one. Taken together, these forces paint a bleak picture: less incentive to build long-term crypto infrastructure, less venture capital, fewer durable ecosystems. If that were the whole story, crypto would be dead. It isn’t - because everything is gambling now. There are fewer paths to wealth than at any point in the last century, and more visibility into missed wealth than ever before. As societies become more stratified and immobile, the rational response isn’t patience or revolution - it’s risk-taking. People already gamble constantly: with leverage, with content creation, with their time, and with all of their capital. This isn’t a future trend. It’s the present, and it’s accelerating. Crypto is uniquely positioned to be the engine of this shift. Not because of decentralization or ideology, but because it’s the most efficient, programmable, and global risk-taking system ever built. What comes next won’t look like the last cycle. There will be extreme power laws. Most projects will die. Infrastructure investing may be largely over for venture. But the few winners will almost certainly be crypto-native. There’s simply too much money to be made.

Today, @elonmusk announced that if 'you've been unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform, we will fund your legal bill.' With this in mind, let me share my story: I am Simon Goddek, once an enthusiastic scientist. Six months ago, I lost my job at the Norwegian Research Institute @SINTEF, accused of “exceeding my freedom of expression on Twitter”. What predated this is my job loss at the Dutch University @wur in 2021, where I showed on Twitter why I believed the peer-review process of Christian Drosten's Covid PCR Protocol was most likely rigged. As a consequence, I didn't just lose my job, but my Twitter account as well. Consequently, I was able to smoothly transition to a new role at the Norwegian Research Institute, a position I held without issue until my Twitter account was reinstated in early 2023. During my absence from Twitter, I collected many quotes and videos from people who publicly defamed the unvaccinated and those holding differing views. When my account got reinstated, I found myself with the unexpected opportunity to confront these individuals with their own words. What has now become my daily "Good morning" routine, consisting of exposing these quotes, was not initially well-received by those I addressed. The backlash seemingly resulted in a barrage of complaint emails to my former employer, which ultimately led to my dismissal. SINTEF's complete justification for my unjust dismissal reads as follows: "There have been several incidents on Twitter etc., where Goddek's comments have exceeded his right to freedom of expression, as some of the comments made are based on obvious falsehoods which are apt to damage SINTEF's reputation, e.g., allegations of 'corruption'." The allegation of corruption refers to the screenshot I attached to this tweet. Nothing about the question I asked justifies the termination of my contract. Stating that I exceeded my freedom of expression is against the law in any country without a dictator. It's also my right as a free citizen to say that… ▪️ Russia is not the main culprit in the Ukraine conflict ▪️There are only two genders ▪️ Covid vaccines did more harm than good ▪️ Vitamin D and Ivermectin could have saved millions of lives … even though these political positions were not shared by my former employer. In the meantime, I've filed a lawsuit against SINTEF and hope to face them in court soon. To meet the very high legal costs in Norway, I was compelled to sell my car, given that my current income from my startup @sunfluencer is far from sufficient. It's precisely for this reason that I appreciate Elon's announcement to support myself and many others, who've experienced significant setbacks in their lives because of their activities on this platform. So, thank you, Elon, for your support, and a big thank you to all my followers who have stood by me during these difficult times. A very special thank you is owed to my incredible lawyer @belawed, tirelessly battling for my rights. Yours sincerely, Simon P.S. By the way, I still have not heard back from David Fisman, who now calls himself David CisMan (you really couldn't make this up!). Despite his daily propagation of misinformation, which likely led many to lose their lives and livelihoods, he retains his position at his university. Academia is dead!

Today was my last day at @dust_labs . Ultimately, my skills and the needs of the team were not a good fit so I chose to part ways. Sometimes jobs just aren’t a good fit, and it’s okay to walk away when you recognize that! There are some true legends at @dust_labs and @delabsxyz and I hope they all recognize their talents. @frankdegods is one of the most masterful marketing minds I’ve ever met, and the community that he’s fostered is a testament to his hustle. I wish them all the greatest of luck (as if they needed a single mote of it). I’m not leaving #web3 though, I’m sailing to the coasts of Tyrrhenia with some pretty fire Argonauts. More on that to come…
