.@Sportsnet @Rogers @NHL are you fucking serious with this? Price has more than doubled than when I first subscribed 3 years ago and the only way I can watch games in Canada…this is beyond ridiculous

A very nice touch to add a sign where the hockey player tossed the amateur golfer into the pond.

"It's definitely a dream come true. I think now that it's written on paper and it's official, it's kind of like a breath of fresh air. It feels like I made it. It's a really good feeling and I'm grateful to have this opportunity."

We are still looking for teams or games or events to come shoot this winter! If your team (hockey, ringette) or your sports event (figure skating, speed skating, other winter sports) are looking for a photographer, whether it’s for one game, or multiple, reach out!

Everything I've learned about using 𝕏
• Simple ideas win
• Be 99% helpful, only 1% for asks
• Don't use hashtags
• Use 1, maybe 2 emojis per post max
• Lists make content more readable
X can be a fantastic place to grow a community, get product feedback, and even make friends. If you're positive and optimistic, most of the time you'll be met back with the same energy.
But not always. Sometimes people are frustrated. The only difference between feedback and criticism is the way you hear it. That mentality has helped me 😌
Adding Links
It's not worth trying to game the algorithm by placing links in separate posts. If the content is good, people will amplify it.
If you are placing a link at the end of a post, remember it will get removed and turned into the open graph image. Don't do this.
"Learn more: https//..."
Because the : will hang in the post when the link transforms.
Open Graph Images
If you want to increase click-through rates, make better OG images.
Don't try to game the algorithm by using an image in the post combined with a link. Then there's less clickable area for your CTA.
Unless, of course, you actually want people to open the image with equal importance as clicking on the link. But I'd guess the former is what folks want most of the time.
If your OG image isn't working correctly, double check the meta tags are correct. If it's still not working, go to cards-dev.twitter.com/valida… and spam the preview card button.
I can't believe it, but this works. It basically purges the X OG image cache. Fun times.
Content
If you post consistently, and interact with others, it's highly likely your account will grow. And you'll get better at understanding what content works (and doesn't work).
Make sure to add alt text to images. For videos, you can add subtitles through `.srt` files. One helpful tool I've found for this is clideo.com/add-subtitles-to-….

Hopefully some of these points were helpful! I would have never imagined 100,000 people would follow me on here. Gonna do my best to keep educating developers and helping them grow in their career.

Chad and Cody Huseby, identical twins, will both make their NHL debut tonight as linesmen for the EDM/VAN game as the regularly scheduled linesmen were unable to get to Edmonton.
Should be quite the evening for those two and their families. @OilersNation @TSN1260 @DailyFaceoff

What this statement conspicuously ignores is that organizations like Hockey Canada and USA Hockey are almost always buoyed by tireless efforts from volunteers and those at grassroots level, as well as lower level staff members who grind with little pay/time off etc
