I have to try different browsers once in a while when I get bored, but I keep coming back to Vivaldi.
@vivaldibrowser is the only one that figured out how to do proper tab management that makes easier for us that keep dozens open at any time.
I've been using stencil.so/tern from @stencil_labs and after just a couple days, and I am already hooked. Such great ideas!
Using AI for retro computing or gaming is valid, and nobody should be upset about it. It's fine if someone who doesn’t know how to program uses AI to create a retro game. A good game comes first from good ideas, then from programming techniques.
The same applies to hardware or any development in the retro scene. We’re not trying to cure cancer; we’re just having fun.
However, written , audio, or video content should use AI only for proofreading. We want to hear, read, or watch you and your thoughts, even if imperfect. If I want to know AI’s opinion about something, I will just prompt them.
I used to have a couple of unfinished projects all the time. Now with help of AI tools, I have at least 10 unfinished projects, and this number will just grow!
Am I getting obsessed or my Youtube suggestions are becoming mostly AI generated crap, either narrated by a person, or a AI-generated voice over. Sad times…
