My jealous ex showed up at my workplace, unannounced and started shouting that I was cheating on her with a female colleague.
I begged her to calm down, but she kept screaming, “So this is the woman you left me for?”
Everyone in the office was watching. My manager called me into his office and warned me that one more incident like this could cost me my job.
After security escorted her out, I called her and told her never to come near my workplace again.
She laughed and said, “You embarrassed me when you left. Now you know how it feels.”
I was furious, but there was nothing I could do. For the rest of the day, I could barely concentrate. I had almost lost my job because someone I no longer dated couldn't accept that we were over.

If he cheats on you, give him a taste of his own medicine. Stop forgiving men who keep disrespecting you and crying behind closed doors. We’re not that generation of women anymore.
The next morning, my colleagues wouldn't let me breathe.
One guy said, “Bro, your girlfriend came to check if you were working or dating.”
Another added, “At least invite us next time. We missed the live episode!”
Everybody burst out laughing.
I laughed too, but deep down, I was worried. Then my manager walked past and said, “Funny story, guys. But if she returns, HR will be involved.”
Suddenly, nobody was laughing anymore.
My best friend asked me to host her baby shower at my house because I have a renovated kitchen and a big backyard. I spent $500 on food and decorations. Right in the middle of opening gifts, she announced that her sister was the one who put the whole event together and handed her a $200 spa gift card in front of everyone.
political brain rot
please help me make sense of this family group chat argument and how i can continue to pretend like my sister’s politics aren’t destroying her. youngest maga sister in red, mom in yellow, middle sister in blue. i, obviously, am liberal and had an abortion 4 years ago. (would do it again in a heartbeat.) should i expect an apology or just get over it?
A man’s funeral was thrown into chaos when his friends started receiving text messages from his phone just hours before his burial. His family had placed his phone inside the coffin because he used to carry it everywhere while he was alive.
One of his friends received a message saying, “Bro, bring me a charger. My phone’s dying.” When others received similar messages, they panicked and rushed back to the funeral home, fearing their friend might still be alive inside the coffin.
But the man was still dead. It turned out that a funeral home employee had secretly removed the SIM card from his phone, inserted it into another phone, and started messaging his contacts as a joke. What he thought would be funny ended up causing panic and stopping the burial, as several people genuinely believed their dead friend was inside the coffin asking for a charger. 💀😂

I pity people who pretend to entertain a convo that they're stuck in. I'll tell you I'm not interested and I leave

I want all the good things, and I know spending time on basic things won't get it for me
