If you don't watch this, don't share it, don't internalize what I am saying. Then you should move out of Alaska.
The "Trojan Horse" Playbook: How Outside Megadonors Capture Alaska’s Resource Wealth 🏔️🗳️ The Prize Under the Ice: Alaska holds billions of barrels of oil, vast natural gas fields, nation-leading commercial fisheries, and untapped critical minerals, wealth directly tied to state funding and the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD). For networks of out-of-state billionaires, the state is viewed not as a home, but as a prize to be captured. The Grassroots Illusion: Rather than mounting a direct corporate push, outside groups use slick mailers and social media campaigns with folksy, eco-friendly branding like "Save Salmon" to provoke knee-jerk emotional voting. The 3-Step Dark Money Funnel: Megadonor Capital: Out-of-state billionaire networks inject millions into local-sounding PACs (e.g., "Alaskans for a Better Alaska"). Layered Shells: The funds are split across opaque conduit funds and PACs named after iconic local symbols (like flag designer Benny Benson) to exploit disclosure loopholes and mask the original donor. The Anti-Corruption Pitch: These groups launch aggressive ad campaigns preaching transparency, using a populist message to win voter trust while concealing complex systemic overhauls inside the fine print. The 2020 Voting Reform Shift: In 2020, outside groups marketed Ballot Measure 2 as an "anti-dark money" measure. In reality, the true-source disclosure rules served as window dressing to pass ranked-choice voting and open primaries, a fundamental restructuring of state elections that voters never originally asked for. The Consequence of Passivity: When outside interests rewrite the rules, decisions over the PFD, mining, and energy extraction shift from Alaskans into distant boardrooms. The Call to Action: Stop emotional, knee-jerk voting; toss out manipulative mailers; trace the money trail behind local initiatives; and back leaders committed to keeping Alaska’s resources managed by Alaskans, for Alaskans.

Dude, I know I probably comment a little too often but they're bad and it's why I don't like the downing lady blogger. They censor their comments worse than Facebook. Say anything against dirty murky or feminist and you get deleted. Not sure how it is now but I learned that lesson years ago before she left.

She endorsed AUNTIE JKT? @akgop @ChairWarfield Get a handle on this. Literally decades and you are playing both sides. Don’t try to play politico. Don’t pretend you are power adjacent. Don’t pose with @POTUS Lisa has failed every vote. Why? Strip her clearance. Sue for damages. Sue for fraud.

I am learning to rank.
How "Voting Once" Can Backfire in Ranked-Choice Voting The Strategy Trap: In ranked-choice voting (RCV), leaving backup selections blank feels principled, but it risks triggering ballot exhaustion. The Elimination Mechanic: When multiple candidates split a majority bloc (e.g., two Republicans taking 30% each while a Democrat holds 40%), the lowest candidate is eliminated. Normally, their votes transfer to their supporters' second choices to consolidate that majority. The Mathematical Flaw: If voters follow "vote once" campaigns and leave secondary choices blank, those ballots cannot transfer. Instead, they are declared "exhausted" and discarded from the active vote tally. The Result: Removing exhausted ballots shrinks the total pool of valid votes, artificially lowering the 50% winning threshold. In the modeled scenario, this shifted the Democrat's share from 40% to 57% of remaining votes, allowing a minority faction to win even when the opposing side originally commanded 60% of the electorate.

Birds of a feather know a citizenry with fewer rights, under a bloated government, are much easier to control. Republicans and Dems are two wings of the same bird. The endgame is clear.

I'm glad she did. But she's laying up for whoever runs for her seat in two years. This election is important. Next one? They think they already own.

This is why we will lose next week. Not because Alaskans want a Democrat, not because Alaskans want Ranked Choice Voting. It is because too many Alaskans are too checked out.

Dirty Murkowski.. We’ve known for how long? Going to be a helluva fight to get rid of her (them)..
Political simulation completely broken: Alaska GOP royalty Lisa Murkowski and her father Frank just walked out and basically said, 'Yeah, we’re voting blue.' They just endorsed Democrat Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins for governor, and nobody knows what is real anymore
