Hanahaki disease rabbot AU where they both have it for each other but since they're both stubborn, self-sabotaging old men, they keep on getting worse in silence. Robby coughs forget-me-nots (reminds him of Jack's dead wife), Jack coughs butterfly weeds (symbolise rejection)
Of course, their flowers are complementary colors and quite similar (both considered weeds, both attracting butterflies, quite simple in their beauty)
