I know I’ve whinged about it before but stop turning the brightness down on my phone, @Apple And my watch, while you’re at it. 😤
I’m too old to be reading things in the dark.

This is very significant.
If you live in a country that has been hit by these hacjers, please consider donating blood now if you can.
Even a one off donation to replace lost stock may make a big difference

Men need to wait three months before they can donate again. With women, it's four months. This means replenishment of the blood bank might need to come from new people who never even think about donating blood. Every time you donate blood, it can potentially save the lives of up to three people.
If you read nothing else this evening, please read this.
*This is particularly aimed at the many armchair aviation experts and ghouls with agendas trying to cash in on this tragedy.
RIP to all onboard and my thoughts are with their families, friends and all those involved.
Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.
Never have I felt so judged! Or that in the mind of the Raven, I proved to be a deep disappointment to him/her….😳🤣
Oh God! Why is this all so relatable? 🫣🤣😂
It’s worth following @LikeToasters for more on life of living with little furry dictators.

Bruiser could use a cup of coffee if anyone would consider helping him out. He is pretty anemic. The doctor isn’t sure what’s going on but words like cancer were thrown around. I have some meds to give him. He will get rechecked in 2 weeks. buymeacoffee.com/bruiserthec…

Ok guys! That’s it. Bruiser has earned himself a trip to the vet. He’s not eating. He’s getting skinny. And I’m worried about the lump on his face. He wouldn’t even touch tuna this morning. Wish me luck! The pink gloves of petting may come into play.
Guess who didn’t notice I’d had my hair cut until I pointed it out to him…🤨
I think he’s vying for your title @history99917180 He even shops like you do! 🙄🤣
This is brilliant and I’d bet I’m not the only one that can relate to this! Spiders smell fear…👀🤣

Remembering the 116 children and 28 adults who lost their lives 60 years ago today. Their families and friends. And the rescuers who refused to give up.
It should never have happened…
