One step forward Saturday and another back tonight. Did we deserve to lose on chances? No, they've had 3 and got 2 goals, we've had about 8. But did we ever really impose ourselves, or play well? No. Did we do the basics for the first 80 mins? No. Too casual for too long.
We've been terrible but once again we've hit the woodwork twice and missed the target with two very good chances.
This Sassi hasn't played all season, been at Concord and Maldon, and his touch has been more secure and assured than anyone in a white shirt. We're absolutely miles off it.
Still giving away daft fouls, still not running the last yard. Twice in the last few mins we've tried to let a ball run out but it hasn't and Braintree have nicked it. It's so lacklustre.
A really really dreadful half of football, punctuated by Braintree scoring after we failed to clear with several bites at it. Far too many stupid fouls given away, total lack of quality on the ball. Nearly nodded off.
Graham got to learn his lesson. Giving away free pointless free kicks in bad areas is how we conceded against Farnborough, and it's led to a goal again today.
I know the pitch is not great but few of ours need to sort their first touch out. Sloppy and inviting the challenge.
Refs that care about the timer on throw ins lasted about 3 games this season. Bit like when they decided to give pushing in the box as a penalty a few years ago then gave up again. Fans don't want to watch people amble about with ten mins added at the end.
Reckon if the gaffer could've described a perfect day it wouldn't be far away from what we got. Clean sheet, 1G1A for Campbell, Addae back and on form, AC fit and won about 15 headers, seemingly a clean bill of health and no bans. Need to take it into Tuesday.
Btw this assist from Campbell is class. I know he's had a very tough start here but hopefully it's turning for him.

#daggers the views from the sieve forum is down for everyone, not just you. Hardy is aware and hopefully it will be back online soon. 馃檹
Have to say I thought Marsh did a job today. Wouldn't go as far to say he was great but he battled hard and maybe even the most effective of the 3 in there. Addae a clear MOTM for me, Ashmore excellent too.
