This week on โCatch the Pace,โ Dr. Pace highlights how Henry County Schools is connecting students with real-world career experiences through Work-Based Learning. Through partnerships with local employers, Southern Crescent Technical College, community agencies, and other organizations, students have opportunities to explore careers, develop valuable skills, and gain hands-on experience while still in high school.
Dr. Pace is joined by Dutchtown High School student Jasper Williams at Piedmont Henry Hospital, where she is gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field as she works toward her goal of becoming a nurse anesthetist.

With 205 students currently participating in Work-Based Learning, these opportunities are creating powerful career pathways across industriesโfrom retail and construction to energy and manufacturing.
