Thing is, Arsenal got the 3 points today but Liverpool ultimately won. All that performance did was make it clear that Liverpool can compete and our players will be kicking themselves for how poor they were in the final third. Meanwhile every PL team now has the blueprint to stifle and frustrate Arsenal. 1st November. It’s a long season for you plastic Arsenal fans.

Arsenal ultimately won the match, not Liverpool. skysports.com/football/news/…

Timber shirt pull probably was a penalty. Thankfully the scousers aren’t the type to hold onto petty grievances for years on end so we probably won’t hear about this again.

Cahill was the best man at Arteta’s wedding
6 years ago today, @Tim_Cahill debated Roy Keane about Arsenal's progress under Mikel Arteta.

The best Arsenal window of my lifetime.
Imagine signing four players in a summer and it's Rice, Havertz, Raya, and Timber 😭

This is an inevitable consequence of having such a large Essex fanbase.
This ain’t my football club anymore.

The media coverage of Villa over the last 3/4 years has been almost universally positive. The idea that there’s a mass media agenda against them is absurd.

To be fair this isn’t just a Villa thing. Every man and his dog these days seems to think that the media has an agenda specifically against their club. You never hear anyone talking about how there’s a media agenda in their favour.

If you’re on the pro free-market wing of politics being pro small business is a much easier selling point than being pro big business.
One of the many reasons I could or would never get into politics is I would not be able to fake giving a shit about small businesses

Cracking game this. Chelsea & United both being this shite defensively makes for great entertainment.

The genius move in question being threatening a man with bankruptcy for being mildly critical of your football club.
Has anyone thought that this could possibly be not as extreme as people think and sawaris pulling a genius move? Here me out Carragher has money troubles at the moment so probably can’t afford to go to court Sawaris has more money than god so £2/3/400k to him is nothing Carragher can’t take it to court so sawaris just says, here you go Jamie, make a public apology video, grovel to the Villa fans and tell everyone just how wrong you were and that you won’t speak to disrespectfully again about the club Utterly embarrassing for carragher, makes him look a right dick and pretty much everyone loves it because most people think he’s a dickhead 🤣🤣

The “Feed The Scousers” chants would probably have stopped by now if Scousers stopped behaving like this.
I’ve written to @premierleague Chief Executive Richard Masters demanding action on poverty chanting following Everton’s game against Chelsea. Everton & Liverpool supporters have endured this class prejudice for years. Mocking families who cannot afford to put food on the table is shameful. Through Fans Supporting Foodbanks, supporters stand together to feed our communities. The Premier League must show the same solidarity & leadership. Hunger doesn’t wear colours. It’s time our game acted like it. #RightToFood #HungerIsAPoliticalChoice

Surely there can’t be any legal precedent for this whatsoever. You’re spaffing money up the wall.
Aston Villa will initiate legal action against Jamie Carragher for his unacceptable insults about the Club and its fans. Aston Villa will not allow anyone to stop our ascension in English and European football. Nassef Sawiris, Chairman

Remarkable how the team that takes the first penalty basically always wins. Getting rid of ABBAABBAAB and bringing back ABABABABAB was a baffling decision.

Never has anything been more nailed on in football than Wesley Fofana missing that penalty.

I don't understand the logic of not having Gabriel, Rice & Calafiori on the bench.
