ACP Illinois worked hard to prepare for the ACP’s First National Congress. Countless hours of collective labor, dedication, and sacrifice went into making it happen. From spring through fall, ACP Illinois has stood with USW Local 7-1 in its fight against an illegal lockout. Day and night, our members have joined the picket line in support of locked-out workers. Yesterday, we also donated hundreds of diapers to help families weather the struggle.

Members of the GA ACP chapter have been conducting social investigation in rural Georgia, working tirelessly to expose the abuse the tenants face from the housing authority. Meanwhile members in the Atlanta area have been hard at work contributing to local community gardens.

Last year, ACP Vermont worked with cadre from across New England to run a victorious election campaign! We talked to voters at polling stations across the county. Voters were convinced that it was time for local government officials to finally be accountable to the people.✊️🇺🇸

Vermont voters elected Chris Helali, an Orange County local and the International Secretary of the American Communist Party, to the office of High Bailiff. This unique Vermont office intervene as a last resort when the local sheriff is arrested or steps down.

On August 30, the Vermont chapter of the American Communist Party met with farmers, small producers and community members at a local farmer's market. The chapter talked with vendors to learn about the problems they face, and to discuss opportunities to help them.
