The newly released @EdWorkforceCmte report confirms what ADL has long warned: Antisemitism within @APA is not isolated; it is embedded in its ranks and leadership.
When a healing profession treats one group's pain with such indifference, Jewish patients are right to wonder whether they will be met with compassion or contempt.
For more than a year, ADL and other Jewish organizations urged APA leadership to act, but it failed to do so. We hope this report prompts meaningful action, including an independent investigation, antisemitism training and recognition of the Association of Jewish Psychologists as an EPA.
We thank Chairman @RepWalberg and the Committee for their continued commitment to combating antisemitism.

One year ago, we launched the ADL Legal Action Network powered by @gibsondunn: a free national rapid-response system for victims of antisemitism, backed by 55+ law firms. Since launch, ADL has filed cases and represented victims of antisemitism from coast-to-coast, including a filing this morning on behalf of a middle-school child in Arizona.
One year in, we're just getting started. adl.org/adl-legal-action
ADL has filed a federal civil rights complaint with @EDcivilrights, alleging that a Jewish student was subjected to severe, persistent and pervasive antisemitic harassment, culminating in a physical assault, while enrolled at Desert Shadows Middle School in @pvschools district in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The student was called a “dirty filthy Jew" and told she should be “gassed” in a concentration camp.
Instead of addressing the abuse, school administrators excused it and placed the student in a class with one of her harassers, later confining her to the principal’s office. The student ultimately transferred to another district.

New ADL and Boundless research reveals a troubling reality: many Americans ages 18–44 have a hard time recognizing antisemitism online, even when it’s blatant. Up to 37% of those surveyed didn’t recognize certain posts targeting Israel and Zionism as antisemitic, and 29% failed to recognize classic antisemitic tropes and slurs like calling Jews “money grubbing.”
We can’t fight hate if we can’t recognize it.

Congratulations to ADL's VP of Education, Ariel Behrman, on her well-deserved appointment to @GovKathyHochul's New York State Holocaust Memorial Advisory Commission!
Having helped advance the legislation behind this initiative, we at ADL are especially proud to see Ariel contribute to this important effort to honor Holocaust victims and survivors, educate future generations and stand against antisemitism and intolerance. jewishinsider.com/2026/10/ho…
The UN Commission of Inquiry’s new report repeats a familiar pattern: sweeping “genocide” claims on thin evidence, with barely a word on Hamas’s atrocities. That rhetoric continues to put Jews everywhere at risk of being targeted, harassed and sometimes even killed while being called "baby killers."
The UN and the Human Rights Council need reform, which is why ADL and the J7 Task force have called on states to elect a new Secretary-General committed to restoring the UN’s credibility and accountability.

Campus leaders have been asked to make fast, high-stakes decisions about incidents, protests, and classroom conduct, often without adequate training. This program closes that gap.

No one should have to navigate antisemitism alone. That's why ADL launched "When Antisemitism Comes to Class," a new initiative addressing antisemitism in classrooms, curricula, and faculty spaces: adl.org/when-antisemitism-co…
I often hear from Jewish students who are afraid to identify as Zionist, speak up in class, or challenge a professor’s claims about Israel because they fear the consequences.
That’s why @ADL launched "When Antisemitism Comes to Class," a new initiative to address antisemitism in classrooms, curricula, and faculty spaces.

Today, Israelis head to the polls to elect the 26th Knesset. Those who spread antisemitic tropes and demonize Israel ignore what election day shows: a Jewish and democratic state where citizens of all backgrounds vote, serve in the Knesset and openly debate the country's future.
It's been 8 years since a gunman opened fire during Shabbat morning services at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, murdering 11 innocent people and injuring 7 others. The attack marked the deadliest act of antisemitism in U.S. history.
Today, the heartbreak of that horrific day remains. 11 innocent lives were stolen and an entire community was forever changed. We continue to mourn those so mercilessly taken from this world simply because they were Jewish.
May the memories of Rose Mallinger, Jerry Rabinowitz, Joyce Fienberg, Irving Younger, Melvin Wax, Sylvan Simon, Bernice Simon, David Rosenthal, Cecil Rosenthal, Richard Gottfried, and Daniel Stein forever be a blessing.
As ADL's Ken Jacobson writes in @TimesofIsrael, “Far too often in post-10/7 demonstrations around the world, what is characterized as pro-Palestinian is more accurately described as anti-Israeli, with a clear purpose of delegitimizing the Jewish state and, many times, encouraging or justifying violence toward Israelis and Jews.”
Being pro-Palestinian should mean wanting to improve the lives of Palestinians, not delegitimizing the Jewish state. And that distinction is crucial if we want to move closer to peace.

As the 2026 election season draws to a close, ADL calls on leaders across the political spectrum to reject rhetoric that fuels antisemitism and other forms of hate and division.
With so many closely contested and consequential races, the temptation to resort to divisive rhetoric is especially strong. Yet candidates, parties, campaigns and their supporters have a responsibility to refrain from scapegoating, stereotyping or dehumanizing any community. Throughout this election season, we have seen such rhetoric across the political spectrum, including this past weekend.
Words have consequences. Rhetoric that portrays Jews or any other community as dangerous, disloyal or responsible for society's problems fuels hatred that can lead to harassment, threats and violence.
We urge all leaders to condemn antisemitism and all other forms of bigotry, whatever the source, and reject attempts to exploit prejudice for political gain.
Debate and disagreement are part of democracy. Hate and violence are not.

Last week, ADL and the J7 Task Force traveled to the UK and Ireland for the annual J7 summit, amid rising antisemitism and growing threats to Jewish communities. With 2025 marking the deadliest year for antisemitic attacks against diaspora Jews in over 30 years, the need for action is urgent. It cannot wait.
Throughout the week, we heard directly from Jewish communities about the challenges they face and brought their concerns to government officials and institutional leaders, including the UK's Foreign Secretary, Ireland's Taoiseach, government ministers, BBC leadership and members of Parliament.
Our message was clear. World leaders must recognize antisemitism as a growing and imminent threat to Jewish communities and our shared democratic values, and take concrete action. That means strengthening security for Jewish institutions, enforcing hate crime laws, confronting antisemitism in the media and online and holding leaders accountable.
We’re proud and grateful to expand our partnership with @nhclc to fight antisemitism and strengthen Christian and Jewish ties.
Here’s what’s new this year: sermon and prayer guides to help pastors speak out against antisemitism, a bilingual English-Spanish Sunday school curriculum celebrating the Jewish people and the Land of Israel, new connections between churches and synagogues, and joint advocacy for bipartisan legislation to create safe access zones around houses of worship.
As @JGreenblattADL said, “That is the America we are building. Young Christians and Jews who stand shoulder to shoulder. And neighbors who become friends.”

A white supremacist pleaded guilty yesterday to damaging religious property. George Horn of Dundalk, Maryland, spray-painted swastikas on gravestones at a Jewish cemetery and admitted he targeted it because it was Jewish.
The conviction stems from an alert from the ADL Center on Extremism, which @USAO_MD commended for its "valuable assistance" in the investigation.
ADL helps hold accountable those who target the Jewish community. Accountability is central to our mission to protect.

Wikipedia's "Gaza war" article was stripped of about 17,000 characters documenting the October 7 atrocities, including evidence of sexual violence. What remains is one line saying terrorists "reportedly engaged" in such violence, which is an attempt to present it as contested information rather than an established fact.
