That’s a big win. It’s also not the end. This network is down, but the method isn’t. Anyone can try to send email using your domain name. A properly enforced DMARC record tells inboxes to reject it.

It was also sold as a service. Criminals bought the kits and ran their own campaigns. Stopping it took a US court order. Microsoft then disabled more than 20,000 accounts and blocked over 100,000 domains made to impersonate real companies.

The trick wasn’t complicated. Fake login pages and messages dressed up as banks, retailers, government agencies and delivery companies. All built to steal logins and card details.

One phishing network sent over a billion messages this year. Microsoft just took it down. It hit more than 75,000 organizations across 150 countries, all since January.

Why should you care? This information is hunted by scam callers. They don’t need to know your password to hack you. They're just gonna call you up and phish out the information they need from you.

What was in them? → Names → Mobile numbers → Dates of birth → Email and home addresses → Customer ID numbers → Loan details The rest of the 375,000 is still under investigation.

Pro Forms checked a file’s type at upload. At submission, it trusted whatever label the browser sent. That gap let attackers disguise code as an image, then run it.

The plugin is Bricksforge, an add-on for the Bricks page builder. The weak spot is Pro Forms, which lets visitors upload files.
