I started working in NC in 1996 with @RoyCooperNC when he was Majority Leader in the state senate. After four AG races, two governor races and now a Senate race, I never thought I would see this type of voter shift. Just amazing. He led the biggest Dem takeover in history. North Carolina shifted significantly to the left last night Roy Cooper flipped won by 19.6 points, a 22.8-point swing from Trump’s 2024 win Down the ballot, the GOP’s state Senate supermajority is gone, and if leads hold, Democrats flip the state House 71-48 per @DecisionDeskHQ
