The S&P 500 fell 0.3% today, but the equal-weight RSP gained 1.2%.
Alphabet fell 13% on AI spend, while Amazon and Intel slid after hours.
That 1.5% gap proves the selloff was concentrated in mega-caps, not the broader market.
Which concerns you more: Big Tech concentration or inflation?
I was researching why garbage company $GNS is still allowed to trade and I learned this little tidbit from @grok
Upcoming change (effective July 1, 2027)
The SEC approved a new rule for NYSE American (and a parallel one for the NYSE):
If a security’s closing price is below $0.25 on any single trading day, the exchange will immediately suspend trading and commence delisting proceedings.
There is no ordinary cure-period plan under Section 1009 for this deficiency (unlike many other listing shortfalls).
The effective date was delayed to July 1, 2027 to give companies time to prepare (e.g., via reverse splits).Mccarter
Until that date, the older discretionary framework (with the practical ~$0.10 floor) remains in place. Existing practices around engaging issuers below $1 continue as well.
Crap like this is why people constantly bash the #AMCARMY. This clown is trying to make it look like Blockrock is making a bullish bet on $AMC when in fact they're simply purchasing shares for their ETFs that track indexes that include $AMC.
The #AMCARMY constantly whines and complains about "the shorts misleading people" when nearly everyone in the #AMCARMY is guilty of misleading when they post garbage like this.
This is why I do not feel sorry for the fact that many of them are down 99%.

Today on a long drive I worked through a four-part series on the life and martyrdom of William Tyndale. The more I listened, the heavier it got.
Tyndale was hunted, exiled, and betrayed for the “crime” of translating the Bible into English so ordinary people could read it. He was eventually strangled and burned at the stake in 1536. His dying prayer was, “Lord, open the King of England’s eyes.” He never lived to see the English Bible widely available. Yet his work shaped the language of the King James Bible and countless translations that followed.
A few hours later we pulled into a Pilot station. I’ve seen the Bible racks in those stores a hundred times, but after hearing what Tyndale endured, it stopped me cold. There, in a truck stop in America, sat copies of the Word of God that anyone could buy for a few dollars. No stake. No exile. No threat of death. Just a shelf by the coffee and the donuts.
We are still living off the blood and courage of that man. The same Book he died to give us is so common in our culture that it can sit unnoticed next to the jerky and the sunglasses. That should not go unnoticed.
Do not treat lightly what others paid for with their lives. Open it. Read it. Obey it. And do not let the ease of access breed indifference. The English Bible is not an accident of history. It is the fruit of a martyr’s obedience. Honor it.
Everyone's (myself included) always bitching about officiating. I think all the new camera angles and stellar video we have available to us catches stuff that the naked eye just can't catch. So, we get to second guess all the missed calls by the refs.
I'm not a 49ers fan, but I think this was a good non-call. The defensive player is clearly going for the ball and grazes no. 5's helmet. It was not a blow to the head.
Chill.

@wisesheets I keep getting "Too many simultaneous requests" errors. When I correct one another pops up, rendering my formulas based on these cells worthless. Is there a fix for this?
