For October, our staff book club read Mad Mabel by Sally Hepworth. A heartwarming tale of redemption about Australia's most notorious teenage killer. Great discussion and lots of laughs. @HumbleISD_AHS

We loved hosting Ms. Bilbo’s classes in the library today for a presentation by SSG Burnett. He talked to our students about the Texas Army National Guard. Great opportunity! @HumbleISD_AHS

We had a great book discussion with these ladies for our September Staff book club! The Calamity Club was a fun historical fiction book set in Oxford, MS in the 1930's. Check it out if you are looking for a new read! @HumbleISD_AHS

We had the best week with all of our freshmen! We met with 30 classes, around 1,000 students, for library orientation! They went on a scavenger hunt to explore the library! It was a fun week!!! @HumbleISD_AHS

We had a great first staff book club after school today! We discussed The Faculty Lounge by Jennifer Mathieu. She’s a Houston author and English teacher. Lots of great discussion, especially if you’ve ever worked at a high school! @HumbleISD_AHS
