We're coming out of stealth.
We've built our first racks after a successful A0 tapeout, $1B+ in customer contracts, and $800m raised.
Early customer tests show us achieving SOTA throughput, latency, and power efficiency on inference workloads.
Our first racks ship this summer.

New Frontier Red Team blog: Phase 2 of Project Fetch, where we test how well Claude can program a robodog.
Opus 4.7, on its own, was ~20x faster than last year's best human team aided by Opus 4.1. (The robodog, alas, still failed to fetch a beach ball.)

In 2024, a high schooler cold DM'd us asking if he could work at Cognition before college. We said yes. We ended up helping him with his college essays and his US visa.
If you've used DeepWiki or Devin, you've seen @Mokshit06's work.
@3blue1brown sat down with us to hear the whole story.

so here's a challenge
I put you in a time chamber
I give you 10,000 books to read
for every word you read, I ask you to guess the next word
if you guess it right, I give you a cake
if you guess it wrong, I zap your butt
and when you're done, we start over again
and again
and again
every time you say any word that isn't in the books - I severely punish you. if you ever have a novel idea that isn't in the books - I punish you. if you ever propose a creative solution to a problem, but that solution isn't in the book... I punish you. in short, if you detour in any way or form from what's in the book, even if you're correct - I hurt you badly
and we keep doing that again, and again, and again
a century passes, and I finally set you free
you leave the chamber,
having memorized everything in the books
and traumatized of anything not in the books
I approach you
give you a hug
and whisper to you ear:
"tell me something not in the books"

I kinda miss doing AI research back when we didn't know how to create superintelligence.
sundays are for quantizing ViT models with the boys in an empty @MIT lecture hall
I love driving people like RC cars @MIT
