“AUM remains dominant (and even grows) as a standard fee benchmark…the notion of collecting double the pay for similar work is largely a myth.”
Trends In Financial Advice Fees: What are financial advisors actually charging for their services? kitc.es/4i9mSf9 Despite ongoing changes in the philosophy of financial advice, new Kitces Research finds that 86% of advisory firms still rely on AUM fees as their primary method of charging for advice. While this model remains widespread, firms have adopted different ways of structuring their AUM fees to align with their service models and client needs. #financialadvisorfees #advisorfees

It’s been 3 years since @LSCCountry took the east coast econo-core country music scene by storm with the release of this banger. If you haven’t heard them yet, go check out their Spotify. They’ve put out several great songs.

Here's a realtor client who almost got sucked into "infinite banking" at age 25. Luckily he met me first. Now at 28 he is CRUSHING earning $500k in RE commissions this year. He also owns 8 rentals and wants to grow that while maxing IRA/Solo(k) for him and his wife (newlyweds)

This chart tells a whole story: Started at $0, made some small contributions. Then a big one. Then a bunch of manual ones. Eventually he automated. He was really excited about picking some individual names (his picks, not mine) but quickly realized he hates losing money. Smart.

I’m concerned about what happens to our society if we lose Bitcoin. How will we replace the value and functionality it provides?
A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started. Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now. Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue. We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months. Why? Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value. Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value? What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?! The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED! Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets! No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone. No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS! Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity. This should be obvious to everyone right now. Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.

Prior to the war, the SoH handled 83% of crude oil exports from the Middle East. Today, it handles only 63% because the Red Sea has more than tripled its output. The SoH is losing relevance; and that is the goal for a long term, secured supply of energy.

I would not want a life where I have to spend all my time impressing millionaires in order to make a living. It’s soul sucking work purely done for money. I love working with regular folks. I get to be myself. No suits, no fancy office, don’t stress much over anything.

It’s not a knock on the millionaires, I’m going to be one. But 75% of people who try it wash out of the business. Why is that?
