First half was comfortably our worst 45 minutes of the season as we gave our
hosts too much time and space to play in & at a tempo they dictated.
Ollie Wright had to be alert more than once to prevent more damage than the one goal we did concede as we lacked the solidity we’d seen in the last two games.
Fair play to everyone though, the second period actually felt like a contest despite the home team still bossing possession.
We earned our slice of luck with the leveller, and if we’d come under that amount of pressure last season like we did in the final stages we would have no doubt folded.
