Nice bounce in semis/growth land. Many are now approaching their declining MAs. Whether they get Mutombo-ed or rip through and start basing remains to be seen.
We're in earnings season, so expect binary outcomes and plenty of volatility in both directions.
Staying nimble!

One in 46 Taiwanese babies is born to a TSMC employee. The Taiwanese gene pool is being sexually selected for semiconductor proficiency.
re-reading gideon lewis-kraus’s feature story “sand castles” on @NewYorker.
so many great details. the AI supply chain becomes a breathing, moving, growing beast, something so visceral and material.
one detail i can’t stop thinking is: one in forty-six babies in taiwan is born to a tsmc employee (?!?!)
next year’s goal: convince a magazine or foundation to fund my tsmc tradwife story.

Remember when everyone thought Autism rates were skyrocketing in Minnesota because the autism program jumped from $600k to over $400 million in claims in just over 7 years, but it was just Somalis scamming the government.
How tf did that story disappear so quickly..!? Lmao

I submitted my buyout resignation to Microsoft today.
They rejected it.
Not because I’m so valuable.
But because I don’t work at Microsoft.
BREAKING: Microsoft, $MSFT, is offering buyouts to 60,000 workers as part of the company’s efforts to cut costs amid AI adoption, per Bloomberg.
Personnel on select teams in the US, Canada, India, and the UK at a vice president level and below will be eligible.
This reflects ~27% of Microsoft's total workforce.

Every bit of real data we have shows that women are much more consensus based and dislike debate. The yes, dear meme exists for a reason
But what you might do to placate your wife or gf is ruinous for an institution like a university that is dedicated to objective truth
Replying to @woke8yearold
Near 20% points for every single bloc is insane. It's just blatantly true they're much less tolerant on average
Remember, you don't want to consult Sun Tzu for this. You want to rewatch all of Heath Ledger's Joker scenes.
BREAKING: Yemen’s Houthis have reportedly struck Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery at Ras Tanura with a ballistic missile, triggering a fire at one of the Kingdom’s most critical oil export hubs, per Bloomberg.
Ras Tanura is the cornerstone of Saudi oil exports, housing a refinery with a 550,000 barrel-per-day capacity and a terminal that handled over 5 million barrels daily before the war. With Yanbu on the Red Sea already hit, Saudi Arabia’s two main export arteries are now under fire.
It comes as Riyadh reportedly offered Yemen’s Houthis $1 billion through Iran to halt attacks on the Kingdom, but the Houthis struck the kingdom's most vital terminal anyway.
