This year's 7 days of scoring over 800 student synthesis argumentative essays for @CollegeBoard #APLang exam is in the books. My 4th year scoring for the exam - every year I'm glad I do it, and able to bring back feedback as a reader to the students during the school year.

The at-home AP Exams this year will not include any multiple-choice questions, only free-response questions adapted for secure testing at home. They will measure skills that can't be learned from Google or chats with friends. By April 3, we will post the specifics for each exam.

The AP Program is developing resources to help schools support student learning during closures, as well as a solution that would allow students to take AP Exams at home, depending on the situation in May. We'll communicate the details by March 20. More: spr.ly/60121srOe.

Because so many AP English Lang teachers recommended it, I read Bryan Stevenson’s "Just Mercy" over the holidays and am glad I did. I hope the new movie version encourages people to read the book, which is utterly inspiring. #JustMercy
