Sommer 2026: 16.000 Hitzetote 🥵 alleine in 🇩🇪.

🚨PETITION
Instead of taking decisive action to end its support for Israel’s genocide, the government has tried to repress people protesting it.
Sign our petition today to demand Andy Burnham sanctions Israel and stops attacking our right to protest: palestinecampaign.eaction.or…

The disgrace that is Ben-Gvir has either lost his humanity or never had any. In any vaguely civilised society he would have been jailed long ago for incitement to murder. In Israel he’s the second most powerful politician

In Africa, we contribute only 4% of global emissions, but we suffer 80% of the consequences. That's not just climate change, that's climate injustice. #ClimateJustice #LossAndDamage

This isn’t some random psycho.
He’s Israel’s National Security Minister. He runs prisons and police. The government relies on his party’s support.
Neither do his comments exist in a vacuum.

Israel's Ben Gvir Calls For Nightly Kill Quota In Gaza
Ben Gvir:
"There are people there who are not alive. They don't need to live. They are not people. I'm doing them a favor by calling them people."
He is calling for the killing of 30 to 50 people in Gaza EVERY NIGHT, pushing Palestinians to EMIGRATE, so they can begin building Jewish SETTLEMENTS across Gaza.

I have been looking at this graph and thinking OK, if true, what do I do? 2026 has felt like the very edge of catastrophe. Sitting here waiting for this projection to materialise just doesn't seem viable or sensible. Where do I run to?
Predictions for global temperatures for 2027 are nothing short of extraordinary.
It’s possible we could reach 1.7-1.8°C above the pre-industry baseline, setting new all time temperature records.
That would mark 5 consecutive years warmer than anything observed before 2023.
This El Niño is going straight into the history books.

If this isn’t terrorism, then what is? A Palestinian father sitting with his child confronted and beaten by the IDF terrorists.

I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear.
This man sows hate, lies and division.
He is a grifter and a conman.
He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.

One of the most ominous risks for Europe is that of a major change in Atlantic ocean currents.
Recent science suggests it has been greatly underestimated in the past -including by me, having worked on it for over 30 years.
Here my half-hour presentation in Vilnius a week ago!
Francesca Albanese: "Israel has unveiled its vision for Palestine-which is none. No Palestine between the river and the sea. The genocide is a state enterprise. The apartheid is a state enterprise. There is no good Israel and bad Israel -it's all Israel. Sanction Israel. Isolate Israel. Cut trade. No more arms. The Nakba has never been over."
Albanese-the UN Special Rapporteur-just delivered the most brutal diagnosis of Israel's project.
This is not about Netanyahu. This is not about the far-right. This is Israel

For the first time ever in our country's history, a barrister is facing contempt proceedings over the content of their closing speech. It is seriously concerning and entirely disproportionate.
Rajiv Menon KC is facing up to two years in prison for the way he defended his client.
Even though the case was adjourned on Friday - the threat isn't over. This is only a delay and not an end to the proceedings against Rajiv Menon.
Barristers cannot fearlessly defend their clients while worrying that doing so will get them sent to prison.
The judge in the trial of the Palestine Action defendants issued a series of orders tightly restricting what could and couldn’t be put to the jury, something that is happening more and more in protest cases.
This is part of an ever-rising clampdown on people coming together to demonstrate, one of the most effective tools we have to hold our leaders to account. Prosecuting a defence barrister for contempt of court would mark a new low in the attacks on our right to protest.
