Dear APS Families and Staff, Remember that our schools will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of the national holiday honoring one of our greatest alums, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. While you are enjoying this day of service, we want to assure you that we are actively monitoring possible inclement weather forecasts that have the potential to impact our communities over the next several days. Our District's Operations Team and Emergency Management Unit have a very close working relationship with the National Weather Service, which provides daily briefings and updates, and continuously monitors conditions for changes. If you are in need, please visit APSCARES.FINDHELP.COM for access to resources and support in the Metro Atlanta area. Financial assistance, food pantries, medical care, and other free or reduced-cost resources are available. We will always prioritize the safety of our students and staff and will continue to provide updated information. Thank you for your continued support. Please take advantage of the provided resources and be on the lookout for a message on Monday, with details on our plans for Tuesday.
