🇺🇦 My deepest condolences to the families of those killed in the relentless Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past week. My thoughts are also with the many wounded, with those who have lost their homes, and with the Ukrainian people who continue to endure this violence.
The devastating attacks in Pryluky, where five children were among those killed, on passenger buses in Kramatorsk and on Ukraine's capital Kyiv are part of a much wider pattern.
Residential areas, energy infrastructure and bridges have come under attack. As winter approaches, Russia is targeting the very infrastructure that allows people to work, travel, heat their homes and maintain some sense of normal life.
The recent attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea are equally alarming, endangering seafarers from countries across the world, freedom of navigation and food supplies in some of the world's most vulnerable regions.
At the same time, Russia presents itself to the Global South as a reliable partner for security, sovereignty and food security, and as a champion of the fight against neo-colonialism. Yet it continues to wage a war against an independent nation, with consequences reaching far beyond Europe's borders.
Respect for sovereignty and international law cannot depend on geography or political convenience. The principles Russia invokes in its relations with the rest of the world must also apply to Ukraine.
Belgium stands firmly with Ukraine and its people. We will continue supporting them and working with our partners to increase pressure on Russia, protect civilians and seek a just and lasting peace.

I am appalled by reports from Kramatorsk, where at least 30 people were killed when a Russian bomb struck public buses. This follows deadly Russian attacks on homes in Kyiv and Pryluky, with children among those killed. Attacks on civilians are unacceptable. We @StandWithUkraine.

The new strikes on Ukraine show the folly of a world order in rupture. No one is a bystander. How many more precious Ukrainian lives must be lost? The Council of Europe will continue to side with law and justice, with one goal: peace for Ukraine.

Russia’s slaughter of innocent civilians in Kramatorsk and Priluki is totally reprehensible. Attacks on civilians are war crimes; those who ordered and committed these attacks must be held to account. Our thoughts are with those lost, their loved ones, and the people of Ukraine.

Hungary strongly condemns today’s devastating Russian attack on Kramatorsk, which killed at least 33 civilians and injured many more.
People going about their daily lives must never become targets of war. There can be no justification for attacks that put civilians in harm’s way. International humanitarian law must be respected, always and by everyone. We call on Russia to immediately cease its ruthless and deliberate attacks against civilians.
My deepest condolences go to the families of those killed, and I wish a swift recovery to the injured.
Hungary stands with the people of Ukraine in this moment of grief. We will continue to support every serious effort aimed at ending the violence and achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace.

A Russian aerial bomb struck two buses in Kramatorsk, killing 33 people and injuring at least 18. Residential buildings were also damaged.
Russia's terror against civilians continues to escalate. The number of civilians killed or wounded this year has already exceeded last year's total.
Let there be no illusions: Putin's war is driven by ruthless imperial ambition and unconstrained by human suffering.
No act of brutality, no scale of destruction, suffering or terror is beyond his reach.
Accountability must follow. Impunity only fuels further crimes.
My thoughts are with the families of those killed and injured, and with all those affected by this attack.
Doctors are now fighting to save the lives of people injured in the Russian strike on Kramatorsk. As of now, 30 people have been confirmed killed, and sadly, that number may rise. The Russian bomb effectively hit two city minibuses. Some of those killed have still not been identified because of the severity of their injuries. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another 18 people were injured in the strike. Residential buildings and cars were also damaged.
This strike will not go unanswered. Russia is trying to destroy all life in Donbas, and a response from the world is a must. A forceful response – exactly as the Russians deserve for all the deaths they have brought. May all those killed rest in peace.

Russia has again brought death to ordinary Ukrainians. Its strike on two passenger buses in Kramatorsk killed at least 33 people and wounded 18.

Romania strongly condemns the latest missile and drone attacks conducted by the armed forces of the Russian Federation against civilians in the city of Kramatorsk today.
The killing of dozens of innocent civilians, including children, and the senseless destruction caused are barbaric actions, deeply distressing and utterly unjustifiable.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and all those affected by this horrendous attack.
Romania stands firmly in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and stresses, once more, that civilians and civilian infrastructure must be protected. Collectively we will do more to help Ukraine defend itself against aggression.
Romania also reaffirms its commitment to the principles of international law, and reiterates its support for the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Romania will continue to stand by Ukraine’s side for as long as it takes.
Attacks against civilians and civilian facilities or infrastructures are war crimes. All those responsible will be held accountable.

This morning, russians struck two passenger buses in Kramatorsk.
Local authorities now report 30 people killed and 18 injured!
People simply travelling through their city are now dead.
Ukraine is in mourning.
A day of mourning has been declared today for those killed in Pryluky in yesterday’s russian attack. On Putin’s birthday.
22 people killed. Five of them children. 54 people injured.
All night, rescue crews cleared the rubble of their homes. All night, they searched for people. They kept finding bodies.
Last night in Kyiv, a russian drone hit a block of flats. Two people were killed as they slept. Four more were hurt.
This war never pauses. Not for grief. Not while families wait for news. Not while the dead are still being recovered from underneath the rubble.
My heart is with the families and loved ones in Kramatorsk, Pryluky and Kyiv.

Rusia sigue bombardeando civiles mientras duermen.
Work to clear the rubble is ongoing at the site of a Russian missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky. As of now, 18 people have been reported killed, four of them children: Oleksandr, Kyrylo, and Serhii, who were only one year old, and eight-year-old Maksym. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured, including seven children. All emergency services are involved and working at the site. Fifteen people were rescued, including one child. There are still people who have not yet been accounted for.
The Russians know very well that they are striking ordinary cities, ordinary life. And the continued use of missiles against Ukraine, against our people, our children, is an absolutely deliberate choice of terror. This is what Moscow chooses – despite all our efforts with partners to bring peace closer. And this is a clear reason why more pressure on Russia is needed and why Ukraine needs more defense packages. It is important that leaders understand this. It is important that the world not remain silent today.
