Catching some M15 AAA Élite action this afternoon with the LSL Grenadiers taking École Fadette Vert et Noir. A player of note for the Grenadiers is 2013-born Kwency Fontaine, an underaged defender who leads all rearguards in scoring on his team with 8 points in 9 games.

Guévin has been dominant at the M18 level this season for Trois-Rivières. Going to be exciting to see him infused with that young Shawinigan forward group.

Another OT winner for 16-year-old Jacob McKinnon, who’s up to 12 points through his first 13 QMJHL games. He’s a late September birthday as well. Only eligible for the 2029 NHL Draft.

Could this influence James Scantlebury and Carter Meyer to return next season? Odds are probably slim, but would be a ton of fun.

Québec native Charles Paquin was the driving force behind The Hill’s offense at this event, and one of the more dynamic forwards altogether. A name to keep tabs on for the 2028 QMJHL Draft.

As impressive as it is to finish tied for 2nd in scoring as a defenseman, Michael Muffareh also happens to be a 2013-born skater playing up an age group at the 14U level. Definitely a name to keep an eye out for.

Here are the best plays/puck touches from Thomas Boisvert’s (#71 Black) QMJHL Debut last night, where he picked up his first goal along with 2 primary helpers👇

Thomas Boisvert had 3 points (1 goal, 2 primary assists) in his QMJHL Debut tonight; a 6-3 loss vs Blainville-Boisbriand. I’ll have a video out tomorrow of his best plays from tonight’s game. A very promising debut from the #1 overall pick.

Last year’s 1st overall selection Thomas Boisvert has his first goal in his first QMJHL game vs Blainville-Boisbriand. I thought he had a strong first period. 3rd overall pick Jacob McKinnon has also scored in this game, now with 6 on the year.

After not being invited to Development Camp over the summer, Nova Scotia native Max Brien has been named to Canada White for the upcoming World U17 Challenge. 8 points in his first 9 games for the Rimouski Océanic.
