GCI’s ‘ASAA Student of the Month’ for May is Hutchinson sophomore Bradley Graham! A work ethic in the classroom to match his excellence in sports, he holds a 4.0GPA while participating in Track, Basketball, and Cross-Country.  Excellent work and Go Hawks!

GCI’s ‘ASAA Student of the Month’ for April is Elim Junior Jordan Ivanoff! An honor roll student who competes in NYO & basketball while also participating in science fairs, he is a role model for all fellow students at Aniguiin School.  Great Job and Go Eagles!

GCI’s ‘ASAA Student of the Month’ for March is Shaktoolik Senior Madison Katchatag! Leading her class with a 3.92 GPA, Madison excels in class and on the courts! An Alaskan Scholar Award winner who has had a stellar high school career! Great Job and Go Wolverines!

GCI’s ‘ASAA Student of the Month’ for February is Galena Senior Marylene Burgett! An MVP performer with a 4.0 GPA throughout all 4 years of high school, she has demonstrated remarkable perseverance and represents the best of Alaska’s student-athletes.  Great Job and Go Hawks!

The Alaska School Activities Association will reveal the March Madness Alaska Basketball Brackets on Sunday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. live on KTUU. The state teams will learn their matchups and game times for the 2026 State Basketball Championships. 🏀
