What a privilege to get out and see Cadets on Norfolk Island, amazing community and unit run by hard working volunteers
Recently our STEM cadets had the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn about the Defence Force's Weapon Training Simulation System (WTSS). Following this, the cadets visited the @Uni_Newcastle, where they toured active laboratories.

Thank you to Sir Peter Cosgrove, who has spent the last three years as patron of ADF cadets, visiting units across the country. Today he was thanked and farewelled by the ADF cadets team.
Thanks @RHendo76 for the work you are doing in the veteran community, would love to see more veterans volunteering to support Army Cadets across the country, spread the word.
Army Cadets is where my passion for serving my country began. There’s no better way to inspire the next generation of ADF leaders. Best of luck to @ASArmyCadets in taking the reins.
The future is in great hands! #ArmyCadets

‘Commitment to a group effort - that’s what makes a team work, a company work, a society work.’ We saw that in ‘spades’ this last week in our Garrison City and Hinchinbrook region. Come what may, the ‘team of teams’ ‘built a bridge and got over it’ - literally and figuratively.
230ACU Norfolk Island conducted a weekend Bivouac, where they participated in an abseiling activity, off Crystal Pool cliff. This was run by the Norfolk Island Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) and cadets were given the opportunity to jump 1-3 times.
