ASUNCommish

The Twitter: So you are retiring? What's next? The Commish: I'm going golfing, boating, reading, writing, playing, traveling and relaxing. The Twitter: Surely you will keep a hand in the college athletics field. The Commish: I don't know yet. And stop calling me. . .

As I look forward to the long holiday weekend, I realize it's forever weekend for me! Today is my last day as the Commissioner of the ASUN. Best to all of you that return to work on Wednesday. To those who have reached the retirement starting line before me, I'll see you soon!

I'm ready! Can't wait to read the next Conrad Keane novel. Will be signing off as @ASUNCommish later today.

Reading great stuff about The UAC, new FCS college football group built by @ASUNSports & @WACsports United Athletic Conference WILL have an AQ into @NCAA_FCS playoffs. NCAA may list it under ASUN this coming fall. Someone tells you otherwise, they don’t know.

Very honored to be invited to participate. Thanks to @EKUBaseball & @EKUBeachVB for the support. Catcher never had to move his glove. Totally embarrassed he caught it on the first bounce. @ASUNBSB @EKUSports @EKU_SAAC

Great pleasure to speak with Kristen Eargle @CS_Connect1 Glad I had the change to note that the United Athletic Conference (football only built by ASUN & WAC) WILL have an AQ to the FCS playoffs. @ASUN_Football @WACsports

Outstanding facilities at the Coop! @UNFOspreys @OspreyBVB @ASUNSports beach championship action on well-manicured courts.

EKU beach players volunteered to join @ASUNCommish for a pic. They said more people need to follow BVB and specifically EKU BVB!

Great teams at ASUN beach vb championship. Including the announcers!

Team photo op with @JAX_Dolphins beach team! Brought them up to date on @ASUNSports history. ASUN was first conf to conduct a BVB championship after the NCAA recognized the sport in 2012. It was hosted by @JAX_Volleyball

Great win for UNF baseball. I think I recognize the inspirational fan’ voice! Go Ospreys! @OspreyBSB @UNFOspreys

Congrats @LipscombBisons @LipscombWGolf ! What a final round! The @ASUN_Golf women's final round saw four different teams in the lead! Fantastic play.

ASUN Tennis is deeper than ever! So much amazing talent. Congrats to all the honorees and the great coaches that recruit and coach these outstanding student-athletes. @ASUNTennis @UNAAthletics @UNATennis @UNA_SAAC

Simply the best! Congratulations Brian & @FGCUEagles @FGCU_Baseball

Link to the full "Let You Be Right" string of Tweets I sent today docs.google.com/document/d/1… @ASUNWBB @FGCU_WBB Go Eagles! Any questions?

Let You Be Right-Part VII Scheduling. Polls, Rankings, NET, record count. Not as much as head to head top 50 results. @FGCUEagles can't get those games. Teams envisioning at large bids don't WANT to play FGCU! Why risk it? The bias is baked into scheduling. Who controls that?

Let You Be Right-Part V I got disengaged a moment ago, right in the middle of my twittering. There is a way to view a whole string of Tweets. Had to learn that to get my full train of thought back. This string will have two more parts. Part VI and Part 9. Not 9. Parts VI & VII
