Every player has their idol. And for Romeo Lavia, that’s Eden Hazard.
Hazard was one of the reasons Lavia chose Chelsea over Liverpool. It was made public at the time that he got the ultimate call from Eden asking him to sign for Chelsea.
The journey might’ve been rough but now that he’s finding himself, imagine the joy they’d both feel knowing that it’s finally beginning to work out. 🥹💙💙

THE FORMULA 1 DRIVER WHO SPENT NINE MONTHS IN A COMA AFTER CRASHING INTO A RECOVERY VEHICLE DURING A RACE.
Jules Bianchi was a promising French Formula 1 driver who was tipped for a bright future in the sport. Born on August 3, 1989, he was a member of Ferrari's young driver academy and raced for Marussia.
On October 5, 2014, during the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, Bianchi lost control of his car in heavy rain and collided with a recovery vehicle that was attending to another crashed car.
He suffered a severe brain injury and was placed in a coma. Despite months of treatment and support from his family, he never regained consciousness.
On July 17, 2015, nine months after the accident, Jules Bianchi d!ed in hospital in Nice, France. He was just 25 years old.
He had competed in 34 Formula 1 races and famously secured Marussia's first-ever championship points with a ninth-place finish at the 2014 Monaco Grand Prix.
His death led to renewed safety measures in Formula 1, including the introduction of the Halo device in 2018.
