Permitting delays are holding back energy and infrastructure projects across the country. As the SPEED Act moves to the House floor, Congress should pass this bill to streamline reviews, reduce uncertainty, and help deliver the projects America needs.
Manufacturers are urging the House to pass the SPEED Act this week. Commonsense NEPA reforms are needed now to cut red tape, accelerate job-creating projects and strengthen America’s AI and energy leadership. This bipartisan legislation puts those reforms into action.

Arizona’s economy depends on getting major projects built on predictable timelines.
We agree with @ShopFloorNAM: Congress should advance the PERMIT Act and the SPEED Act to modernize federal permitting and finally move critical projects at the pace our economy requires.
Congress has an opportunity over the next 12 days to demonstrate strong, bipartisan momentum on comprehensive permitting reform for America’s manufacturers.
