I just wrote my first book. It's called Pump Up the Volume: On Confidence, Self-Doubt, and the Voice in Your Head That Can Go Straight to Hell. Foreword written by "The Man" Becky Lynch, and a blurb written by "The Other Man" Jimmy Kimmel. Coming soon.

A powerful front page.
Sinead O’Connor publicly spoke about her mental health struggles and how hard it was to get help.
And below a story showing how we continue to miserably fail younger people and their families also looking for that help

I just mustered up every ounce of courage to interrupt White House Press Secretary @K_JeanPierre and urge the Biden Administration to stop approving new coal, oil, and gas projects.
The climate crisis is here now. @POTUS, listen to Gen-Z, scientists, and frontline communities

Bipolar & PTSD are not "inner demons”
That’s archaic language that frames mental illness/trauma as being possessed by evil spirits
We demonize brave women while they live and then saint them when they die
Let’s honor Sinead by honoring our next inconvenient prophet in real time

A great Irish poet and singer left us today.
She was beautiful, courageous and wore her heart on her sleeve. She was before her time.
Nothing will ever compare to Sinéad O’Connor.
Rest easy Sinéad.

Nothing Compares made her famous … but the anger, pain, passion and sense of social justice that went into Sinead O’Connor’s writing and performing of Black Boys on Mopeds made me her lifelong fan. Rest easy.

in 1992, sinead o’connor shocked the producers of SNL when at the end of her performance, she tore up a photo of the pope to protest child sex abuse in the church. her career was totally derailed and the church’s abuse did not re-enter the national spotlight for another 10 years

Utterly devastated to hear about the loss of Sinéad O'Connor. Sinead had discovered PS22 Chorus after we sang her song "Jackie" and invited us to open her performance in NYC's Highline Ballroom. She gave the PS22 Chorus and their director one of the highlights of our lives. RIP
