I'm a $Near investor as well. Probably the only ICP investor that's been willing to defend Near as a legit project. But I won't maxi out on any project to the point that I don't question things when something looks off or wrong.

Fair question. The honest answer for a lot of people is "more than I'd like", usually because self-custody felt like a hassle. That's the bit we fixed. In @oisy nobody holds your whole key, not even us. It's split across ICP nodes and nothing moves unless you say so.

Nice work @JoshHQ Migrating from PHP, web server plus database, to one secure, unstoppable, serverless Motoko canister, which keeps its data in persistent memory, is now super easy with AI. And then you can improve it fast. If you're on legacy web tech, just do it!

The AI cybersecurity arms race is broken. @dominic_w asks: what happens when your defensive AI misses a vulnerability? He explains why @dfinity sees $ICP’s tamper-resistant infrastructure as a different starting point. #ai #Crypto #hack

$Near has just one good product which is near intents. That's the only reason I hold a bag of $Near. The rest of their products are average, at best. #Near #ICP

Internet Computer (@dfinity, $ICP) founder Dominic Williams argues that AI poses a nearer threat to crypto than quantum computing. Williams cites a claimed $ETH disproof and the withdrawn HAWK signature scheme. More here: bsc.news/news/internet-compu…

Control over cloud infrastructure is becoming a boardroom issue, and two pressures are driving it. Geopolitical tension means governments want certainty that foreign powers cannot access their data or cut off their infrastructure. And AI is taking a growing role in building and running online services, on infrastructure designed for human developers and sysadmins. Erika Masako Welch's article in @EntMagazineME brings both front and centre, following Dominic Williams and cloud engines on the Internet Computer. nitter.gq/EntMagazineME/status/2…
“Every era of computing has a fight over who controls the infrastructure. In the AI era, that fight is about sovereignty: who owns the hardware a country or company runs on, who can see its data, and who can pull the plug.” With this observation, Erika Masako Welch, Chief Content Officer of @LucidityInsight, explores how sovereign cloud becomes a strategic priority as governments and businesses confront their dependence on digital infrastructure. In her analysis, Welch describes two forces driving this shift: geopolitical tensions that raise concerns over foreign access to data and infrastructure, and AI's growing role in building and running online services. For organizations that rely on cloud platforms to operate, control over that infrastructure becomes a boardroom issue. At the center is the DFINITY Foundation's (@dfinity) Internet Computer, an open network that combines computing resources across data centers to host software and data. Its cloud engines allow organizations to choose the hardware supporting their services and change that configuration as their needs evolve. Welch highlights founder Dominic Williams' claim that enterprises can move from hyperscaler computing resources to dedicated hardware in their home countries “without interrupting or even degrading the services you are running.” mena.entrepreneur.com/techno…
