Except that's a complete lie. My sources confirm auditors from @txcomptroller have been ON SITE at Prosper ALL WEEK. All. Week. But here's what really sent Torres into hysterics: the state review intended to uncover wasteful spending is ALSO looking into DEI politics, H-1B foreign workers, and inappropriate library books in schools. Heaven forbid the Comptroller's office actually investigate what's being shoved into our kids' classrooms, right Aaron? He's "outraged" that Comptroller Huffines would dare look into this stuff, which tells you everything about whose side these "journalists" are on. Look, I've spent the last few years covering the heinous acts Prosper ISD has tried to bury, so watching a lazy reporter run cover for them is nothing new. But I felt the record needed correcting.
