this might end up being one of the worst disenfranchisements in modern NZ history, and zero established institutions - particularly media - did enough to raise awareness or effectively wield power to stop it an indictment of every single mainstream leader in the country, frankly

all of the people who came up to me and others in line at the polling booth and found out they couldn't enrol were elderly, mainly white + one older chinese couple. i don't think it's unreasonable to think that they might not have heard about the new change to enrolment rules

Took like 2 months of having him on about it, but i think my home town mate is finally going to enrol - he just needs to find his license..

I find myself occasionally reflecting on my life in terms of the primary themes the show writers are trying to communicate during any given season. Currently, its "maintaining friendships is an active effort" and "take life a little slower"

Holy shit apparently dislocating your knee, tearing a crucial ligament, and probably needing surgery isnt classed as an accident under ACC so my claim might not be accepted. Thought this government was a fan of common sense or something
