AbyssalCraft will be a vanilla Minecraft Map based on Made in Abyss.
It will be an Adventure/Role-Play map including about everything we saw in the anime so far.

⏱️ Release date estimated: Late 2025, maybe 2026
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 ?
- Orth and the 6 layers of the abyss
- The Curse for each layer
- Whistle rank system from Red to White
- Special items (Grappling hook, Cooking pot, etc)
- Powerful relics to collect
- Custom creatures
- Playable characters to embody, with unique abilities (Reg, Ozen, Bondrewd and Faputa)
- Blessing of the abyss (Nanachi, Mitty and Bondrewd's forms)
- Custom gamerules to modify the settings of the map as you wish and make your own Adventure or Roleplay

We found a kind and talented builder! 🎉
Cleo remade the Orth island on worldpainter, it's bigger and more accurate, and our new builder has started to build on it today
As for me (Aura), I'll continue the coding.. 🧑💻

Our team has always been fairly small (only 2 builders) which is one of the reasons why the map is taking so long and why it isn't as large as some of you might expect.
A few years ago, we spent several months building Orth. At the time, we were satisfied with it, but looking back, we now feel that the result is only average — not bad, but not particularly good either.
That's why we'd like to know if there are any builders among you who would be motivated to help us remake Orth, making it both closer to the anime and more beautiful.
Depending on how things go, you may also have the opportunity to join the Staff, see the map, help us later with decorating the 6th Layer or improving the Abyss in general, playtesting, etc.
Orth Island (mountains and all) will be generated in WorldPainter by Cleo. The task will only be about building houses, shaping and decorating the city itself.

- Be 18+, kind and mature
- Be motivated
- Have good building skills (screenshots of previous builds are highly appreciated)
- Know the basic WorldEdit commands (Axiom is a plus, but not required)
- Be willing to accept feedback and make changes or redo parts of a build if the staff team feels it doesn't fit

While Aura is codding the map's mechanics, the builder Londran (@Lond7363) came up with an idea for the map : Secret Areas
Far from the center of the Abyss, these hidden locations would feature unique biomes, dangers, and one hidden relic.
We could do one for each of the 30 relics that can naturally be found. That could make exploration more interesting for players.
He's asking for your opinion : What do you think about this feature ? Should he do more ?

Oh.. how fascinating. I find myself wondering.. might there exist a more efficient, swifter iteration of this? Such a discovery could prove.. exceedingly valuable to my research endeavors.
