#ThrowbackThurs Not sure who wrote this generous piece from @MusicWeek in '78, but the label-dodging-genre-hyphenation continues to this day. Ok, 'straight rock' is right off the list but everything else is still fair game. Thanks @RichardPMurdoch for passing it on.🤸♀️

I was so lucky to receive this beautiful CD from @Harbottle_Jonas at @BeardyFolk this year. Lush vocal arrangements and poignant, yet uplifting lyricism. So much beauty in the world right there staring me in the face each time I’m thinking on the stuff that sucks.

A taster lyric extract from #LikeAnimals - #Collateral, which looks at how a lust for power can overwrite empathy. For people whose brain is wired this way anyone blocking their path becomes collateral.
