“Actions by the UN Security Council should help ease tensions and bring about a ceasefire and the resumption of talks, rather than endorse illegal acts of war, still less add fuel to the fire”
Chinese FM Wang Yi held a phone conversation with the current chair of the Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Bahraini FM Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
Wang elaborated on China’s principled position of opposing aggression and advocating peace. A ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities are the common call of the international community. Actions by the UN Security Council should help ease tensions and bring about a ceasefire and the resumption of talks, rather than endorse illegal acts of war, still less add fuel to the fire.
#China stands ready to work with #Bahrain to promote a ceasefire, restore peace, achieve lasting regional stability, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the #GlobalSouth, especially small and medium-sized countries.

Extremely interesting proposal by Wang Yi in his speech that I haven't seen anyone talk about yet: he proposed to merge the Belt and Road Initiative with Europe's own version of it.
That's the quote: "China is willing to synergize high-quality Belt and Road cooperation with the European Union’s Global Gateway strategy, so as to empower each other and empower the entire world."
Europe should really consider it. Unbeknownst to most, China made the same proposal to the US at the start of the BRI (which goes to show it wasn't done in the spirit of undermining the US as many claim) and the US flatly rejected the offer. Later, John Kerry (Secretary of State at the time) said this was one of the biggest mistakes of his career. Maybe Europe should not make the same mistake...
Nobody seems to have come up with a full transcript of Wang Yi, China's top diplomat, at the Munich Security Conference so I have made one pekingnology.com/p/wang-yi-a…

The heart of medicine is human connection, compassion and empathy, not “big bucks.” It’s rather unfortunate for the common person to think otherwise.
While it may be true that many join the profession for "big bucks," this mindset is precisely what’s eroding the medical field.

Academic theft does not stop at plagiarism—that’s the shallow end of the pool. What people don’t understand is that the game theory in the academy GUARANTEES a rampant culture of theft, which creates phony experts, who then staff the broken institutions that put us all in danger.

Knowledge vampirism and theft is commonplace in academia. It’s pathetic that people are so easily groomed and recruited as allies to mediocre minds who have talents for ego stroking and bullying.

Trauma and war are intimately related.
Trauma plays out in organizations if unchecked. We see this from the smallest to the largest groups.
Intergenerational transmission of trauma protects survivors' offspring while increasing the risk of future distress and conflict.

For the attention of:
Mr. Adil Raja
Thank you for reaching out to General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), with your message.
The COAS receives an influx of communications daily. After meticulously examining your message, we found it to be quite the masterpiece—deserving no further action or response.
Yours sincerely,
