Nothing says “we respect Native American culture” like Black folks who identify as Native cosplaying in the wrong Southeast Native ceremonial clothing.

I can, or a good bit of it lol
You can explain 802.11ax in your sleep. Can you explain 802.15.4? For a lot of wireless engineers the honest answer is no, and that gap is getting expensive. 802.15.4 is the layer sitting underneath Zigbee, Thread, 6LoWPAN, WirelessHART, and ISA100.11a. When a building automation vendor, a facilities team, or an OT group brings sensors into your environment, that's usually what arrives. It shares the 2.4 GHz band with your Wi-Fi. It has its own channel plan. It behaves nothing like an 802.11 client. So when the sensor mesh gets flaky and someone asks the Wi-Fi person to look at it, "that's not my protocol" stops being a useful answer. You're the one in the building who understands RF. Tom Carpenter's breakdown of 802.15.4 covers the bands, data rates, and where it actually fits. It's a solid starting point. Read it: zurl.co/jpoIK CWISA is where the structured version of this lives. It's the entry point to CWNP's IoT track and it covers 802.15.4, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, Thread, Z-Wave and more, vendor-neutral, so the knowledge transfers whoever built the gateway. NOOOO NOT NETFLIX
EXCLUSIVE: Netflix is developing a movie adaptation of "Hatchet," Gary Paulsen’s 1987 young adult survival novel. • The film will be written and directed by Derek Cianfrance, best known for films such as “Blue Valentine” and “The Place Beyond the Pines.” • Per the synopsis: “Hatchet” follows “13-year-old Brian Robeson, who is stranded alone in the Canadian wilderness after a plane crash with nothing but the hatchet his mother gave him.” • Paulsen later expanded the story into a five-book series that included “The River” (1991), “Brian’s Winter” (1996), “Brian’s Return” (1999) and “Brian’s Hunt” (2003). wp.me/pc8uak-1lHWxk

One of the only existing groves of American Chestnut trees is scheduled to be destroyed next month to make room for a datacenter. I made an entire video about what this tree meant and the efforts to bring it back that have lasted decades. Consumption knows nothing of sacrament.

Yup If he is duly convicted, so be it. The Japanese justice system is wild, but not too terribly far. You know better. We expect better. I hope you're innocent. ...But if not, so be it.
The US Marine in Okinawa that was arrested for murdering a local woman? Every response I've seen in multiple threads by Americans is to let the Japanese authorities punish him to the fullest extent of the law. Not a single comment in his defense. Japan has the death penalty. They hang them. Good.

Correct
The Army is the only place where you can be trusted with a machine gun, explosives, night vision and another man’s life… but some motherfucker still wants to inspect whether your wall locker is arranged correctly. Infantry life was simple. Walk farther than necessary. Carry more than necessary. Sleep less than necessary. Then get told morale is low because nobody shaved properly. You spend half your life waiting. Waiting on trucks. Waiting on ammo. Waiting on chow. Waiting on somebody important who was supposed to be there two fucking hours ago. Then suddenly: HURRY THE FUCK UP. So everybody runs somewhere just to wait again. Ruck marches? Nothing builds character like walking twelve miles before sunrise with half your house strapped to your back while some psychopath up front is walking like he’s late for a fucking flight. Field problems are even better. Cold. Wet. Hungry. Sleep deprived. You finally get comfortable for eleven seconds and somebody whispers: Stand to. Fuck. Weapons cleaning is another beautiful Army tradition. That rifle can be cleaner than the operating room where you were born and some NCO will still find carbon in a place God himself didn’t know existed. Then comes the layout. Nothing says combat readiness like placing every single piece of shit you own on the ground in perfect little rows so someone can confirm that yes, you still possess six fucking tent stakes. Staff duty? Twenty four hours of staying awake to protect a building full of sleeping adults from absolutely fucking nothing. CQ? Same shit, different desk. And every infantryman eventually develops three permanent injuries: Bad knees. A fucked-up back. And an uncontrollable urge to say, “That’s fucking stupid,” every time someone explains a new policy. The Army taught me leadership, discipline, loyalty and how to function when absolutely everything sucks. It also taught me that no matter how miserable you are, someone outranking you can always find a creative new way to make it worse. We complained every fucking day. We swore we were getting out. We counted the days. Then we got out… and somehow started missing the dumb motherfuckers we suffered with. That’s infantry. Absolutely miserable. Completely ridiculous. And some of the best fucking years of your life. Queen of Battle, motherfuckers.

This is legit one of the funniest and in some ways, strangely beautiful, things I've seen in a while.
Um... Asking America.gov to play Minecraft leads to a long, rambling, philosophical hallucination of some kind. VERY WEIRD. Watch this or just skip to the end.

Couldn't disarm that one, eh Cap? @EODHappyCaptain
Had to go on base today. The gate guard asked how I was doing I meant to say, “living the dream” or “having a great day” Instead I said “living the best day that I have” We both awkwardly stared at each other and then I drove off. I will relive this shame for the rest of my life.

>divert Wild since funding had increased and none of it has been redirected Unless you mean because you have less kids in public schools, and less per capita funds. But that's a good thing because studies show better teacher to student ratios are an ironclad success metric.
Property taxes are high because Republicans have shifted the state’s funding responsibilities onto homeowners. If they were serious about relief, they wouldn’t divert public education dollars to private schools. Texas doesn't have a money problem. We have a priorities problem.
