I never really got into onchain lending before, but after playing around with Rhea’s lending market I feel like I actually understand it. Putting up assets means they can be both borrowed and borrowed against. It’s all about leverage. Borrow against assets to buy more assets. Borrow assets to sell them and buy back lower. Just be careful, nothing in trading is more painful than getting liquidated. With normal trading you can always buy more or wait for it to come back up. If you get liquidated, it doesn’t come back. Treat leverage like a gun: very powerful, deserves respect, don’t misuse or you could seriously damage your life.
