Miljardöörit lähtevät (kuten on käynyt ja meneillään Englannissa sekä Norjassa) ja miljonäärit puolestaan järjestelevät omaisuutensa siten, että mahdollinen maksettava vero on minimaalinen. Tämä puolestaan aiheuttaa valtavat pääomapaot Suomesta ja vaikka en olekaan akkreditoitu taloustieteilijä, väitän, että välillisvaikutusten kautta lopputulema on suureltikin netto-negatiivinen.
Miksei sitten veroteta 1% vuosittaisista pääomatuloista, jotka ylittävät miljoona euroa? Koska niistä verotetaan jo 30% ja kolmenkymmenen tuhannen euron ylittävältä osalta 34% verokannan mukaan.
Miten siis päästä kiinni "makaavaan omaisuuteen"? Eli sinun ja minun vanhempien tai perikunnan mökkeihin (turha kuvitellakaan, etteikö miljonääriveroa ulotettaisi niinkin paljon kuin viisikymmentä tonnia omistavien keskuuteen, etenkin sitten kun se jo kerran on olemassa. Kaikki mukaan talkoisiin!) (Todellisuudessahan myöskään suomalaisten miljonäärien omaisuus ei pääsääntöisesti makaa, vaan sen ylläpito vaatii jatkuvasti resursseja, joita taas maksellaan niillä ansiotuloilla tai pääomatuloilla, mikäli sijoitusprofiililtaan sellaisia arvon miljonäärille pääsee kertymään.)
Nyt kun on löydetty kohde, mutta ei tapaa saada verosta tasapuolista kaikille tai keinoa estää verojärjestelyä-- voitaisiin samaa hassua ajatuskaarta seuraten, kaikkein luotettavimmin lätkäistä suomalaisille takautuvasti vuosittaisiin ansio- ja pääomatuloverotustietoihin perustuva "ANPÄ miljonäärivero". Sehän ei myöskään olisi "rasistista", koska se todellakin osuisi valtaosaan kantasuomalaisista! Hyvä me!

I had forgotten about a request (against my own ask) from a colleague in finance-- who had to remind me twice, so I felt bad for them ..and acquired a gift card (PDF) to their next door café (after some auto-translate, as I don't speak Latvian).
I got one of the most surprised and enthusiastic 3-line response ever, followed with a "I have the best colleagues! 🥳"
Their reaction made me much happier than I believe I could've ever been by just keeping those few €'s.
