OBATA OSU!!!!! one of Enugu state
Mmiri Ndi Enugu, ji afuzọ! 🔥
Let’s just say we haven’t even scratched the surface yet.
042 Festival 2027 is coming with a whole new wave, and I want you all to anticipate it. We are only getting started!
To everyone who showed up, supported, partnered with us, participated and made 042 Festival 2026 happen, thank you. You made this journey worthwhile.
We have learnt, we have grown, and we are coming back bigger, better and stronger.
042 Festival 2027… THE WAVE IS COMING! ❤️
I should be accountable for how I choose to spend my personal money to host an event. But let me ask, did any of you contribute a dime towards making 042 Festival happen?
I honestly don’t owe anyone an explanation because this event was planned, funded and executed with my personal resources, not public funds.
Enugu Air supported my vision by providing complimentary flights to bring creators into Enugu. I personally went all out to curate PR baskets for 70 creators. Do you have any idea how much that cost? How many events in Enugu have gone that extra mile to appreciate and engage creators?
I am constantly doing everything within my capacity to ensure that events in Enugu get the visibility and digital recognition they deserve. Yet, somehow, even that has become a problem.
Please, Ebuka, I really don’t want to get angry with you because I know you personally. But I am genuinely disappointed to see you come here and dismiss the amount of work, personal sacrifice and resources I put into making this happen.
You may have your opinions about the event, and that’s fine. But please, don’t disrespect my hard work or make it seem like I didn’t give this my all.
Replying to @Ada_042
Whilst we're holding the forth on this matter, can you explain how your friends sort out their bills and why the local influencers barely got just baskets?
Transparency is the surest way to show accountability, that's if you agree.
I have been seeing this conversation, and honestly, I have been quite quiet about it.
But I think it’s important to clarify something: 042 Festival is not just for Ndi Enugu; it is for every Igbo person, home and abroad. I don't organise events just to trend within Enugu. The vision has always been bigger than that.
Most of the Lagos influencers you are referring to are actually from Enugu. Beyond that, many of them are my personal friends who went out of their way, spent their own money to sort out their bills and travelled down simply because they wanted to support me and see this vision succeed.
I also sent PR baskets to 70 Enugu-based creators, yet this is the kind of conversation I am seeing from creatives within the same industry we are all trying to build.
We cannot build a thriving creative industry in Enugu if our idea of growth is limited to supporting only Enugu-based creatives.
The industry needs collaboration, exposure, networking and a willingness to embrace people beyond our immediate circle. We cannot keep preaching growth while creating divisions among ourselves.

Well done. Please next year less focus on Lagos influencers. They were a total waste. focus on Enugu state influencers.
God sees alll
We have not scratched the surface yet and we go again next year
Bigger and bigger
@042festival
You might not like me, but you can’t deny the fact that I’m not ordinary. Because you don’t do things like this with just your two eyes open. There’s definitely a hand of God at work.
What exactly is going on here? 😂
This was not a political gathering, please. He was there for @042festival!
Ndi Enugu! ❤️
It is with a heart full of gratitude that I say THANK YOU.
Honestly, I am speechless and short of words. Your love, support, encouragement and the way you showed up for us mean more than words can express.
We may not have gotten everything right, but we have learned so much, and we cannot wait to come back stronger, better and more intentional. We will learn from our mistakes and keep improving.
Thank you for believing in us, thank you for showing up, and thank you for riding with us.
This is only the beginning. ❤️
Dalụ nu! 🙏🏽

Mayor just showed me a particular video, and honestly, I’m still trying to process everything that happened at 042 Festival.
I think I’ve been so focused on what didn’t go as planned that I forgot to appreciate how much we actually pulled off.
What did we really pull off on Sunday? 🥹
Sometimes, as a PR expert, I tend to downplay my own efforts and the work that goes into making things happen.
We started our major publicity campaign just 30 days before the event. A lot of people thought it was too late, but I deliberately wanted to test a particular strategy, and looking back, I can confidently say it was worth it.
Was it stressful? Extremely!
Was it demanding? Absolutely!
But seeing the results, the turnout, the energy and the impact is making me realise that perhaps I haven’t given myself and my team enough credit.
We did a lot more than I have allowed myself to acknowledge. ❤️

I was present at 042 Fest, a vibrant celebration of the culture, creativity and spirit of Enugu.
Events like this remind us of what makes Enugu special. They bring our people together, showcase our talents and present our state to the world as a destination for culture, tourism and entertainment.
A big congratulations to the convener, @ada042, for putting together such a remarkable festival. Her passion for Enugu, her creativity and her drive to bring our people together were evident in every part of the event. What she has built with 042 Fest is something our state can truly be proud of.
And to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah, Governor of Enugu State, whose vision continues to make such moments possible, we are truly grateful.
042 to the world. Tomorrow is here!

This is exactly how to campaign for a second tenure. Peter Mbah is HIM.
He was asked why ndi Enugu should vote for him again, listen to his response. He's mentioning his visible achievements and using it to campaign for more.

Honoured to be at the 56th Annual Accountants’ Conference of ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) as a Fellow, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
This year’s theme, “Beyond Numbers: Strengthening the Economy, Securing the Nation,” speaks directly to the work we do every day. Our profession goes far beyond balancing figures. It is about building trust, guiding sound decisions and helping to shape the economic future of our nation.
It’s always a privilege to learn from and connect with colleagues who share this commitment to accuracy and integrity.
