As we observe the 50th anniversary of the Xenia #tornado, this is the first part of our documentary, “The Day the Clock Stopped: 50 Years After the Xenia Tornado.”
The entire documentary airs tonight on FOX45 at 6:30pm and it always available for free on YouTube. The link is in the thread. I’m incredibly grateful this has reached so many people and the feedback has been very humbling. Thank you 🙏
In the fourth grade. My mom let me stay up and watch the end. My dad was coming home from a business trip. I just remember screaming and running around the house after Larkin hit the game winner. I then taped the Homer Hanky above the door in celebration. I’ll never forget it.
I was 10. It remains one of the greatest sports moments of my life. Love that team and Kirby.

I asked Dayton HC Anthony Grant about entering his 10th year with the Flyers. His answer was quick and about the future.

Grant was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer that sees about 250 cases per year in the United States. Still, the seventh-grade quarterback said he was determined to fight.

Such a well done and heartfelt story on an incredibly strong young man. @Boro_Panthers

Football is a tough, physical game. Grant Bross, a 7th grader at Springboro, is proving he's stronger than anyone with what he's doing on the sidelines.

Every year on or right before 9/11, we show this video to our students. It’s not only powerful story-telling, it’s a reminder to a younger generation about how life altering 9/11 was for those of us who lived it. It’s only 10 min #themanintheredbandana
