Following yesterdays presser and the debate thereafter, some further comment Bahoya, and how this has played out before
Farke’s results are undeniable, but this is a problem and it’s not going away, in fact it’s becoming much more important

Jean Matteo Bahoya, and Farke’s Blind Spot for Young Players:
Bahoya is the latest young talent struggling for opportunities at Leeds United. The list of those who came before him is becoming difficult to dismiss #LUFC #MOT

I’d argue that it’s negative to be happy with what’s been served up. We’ve played 4 of the bottom 5, one of which is the world’s worst run football club.
It is aspirational and realistic to expect more in those games from the group of players we have, no?
Our bench had a winger we bought from ac Milan who he’s happy to start every week. We have the fastest player ever recorded in Germany. We started Fulham’s POTY from last year. We are choosing to play 5 defenders and also Brenden Aaronson. We can get better results than this
Daniel Farke: “I'm the manager of a side who has struggled for 30 years to play 2 solid seasons on PL level. I accept that we don't have offensive-wise individual quality where a player who costs £100m who has a moment of magic and wins this game.” #LUFC [via @isaacjohnsonLL]
2 points out of 6 now and performances that are so boring they’re starting to be ableist against the adhd community. I know we’re 7th but surely there has to be more than this? This is meant to be a form of entertainment
I’m so bored man just chuck him on so I can feel something
Are we ready for the bahoya chat now? Teams basically fine, can of course argue that we’re missing some ballast in midfield, but then we get to the LHS and… why? What’s Brenden going to bring to this that any other player won’t? Why won’t we use our most exciting signing?
Of all Daniel farke’s gifts his biggest might be managing expectations. We’ve done so well just by having good players and being hard to beat. Man U last weekend would have been beaten with a bit more bravery - we’ve got a strong setup, for sure, but could we gamble a bit more?
Daniel Farke says it’s "definitely not a realistic target" for Leeds United to qualify for Europe this season
Adds: "I’m not sure that it’s healthy if you overachieve so early in your journey as a club"

How long before we go back to a 433? I can’t say there’s loads of games I’ve felt in need of the extra centre back this season

Good to get back to it after the longest international break of all our lives - one of the running things so far this season has been the bench.
At what point do we need more? Where are contributions going to come from?

In 6 games so far this season, the bench has contributed to one Leeds goal. At some point, there has to be more.

That is as an excellent example of away team football from us - remember all that nonsense about tanaka not being able to mix it at this level before this season? Look at the boy now
