1/7 A thread on some changes in topics in my X posts. For 10 years, my X account was devoted to only patents, innovation, tech & science. I am continuing these posts, as I did today with a post on the anniversary of #patent issuing on Tupperware in 1954. But more is required now.

Bravo, @UNRWA, for your first-ever post condemning a terrorist attack.
Usually, your officials and teachers praise terrorist attacks on synagogues: xitter.cf/HillelNeuer/status/163…
We documented 400 of them: unwatch.org/unrwa-terror-net…
Let us hope this marks a dramatic new path for you.
UNRWA condemns the terrible terrorist attack on the church in Hmoud. We mourn those killed and wish the injured a swift recovery. We stand with our host nation Jordan.
Places of worship must be sanctuaries of peace and safety. Attacks on civilians and religious sites are indefensible.
The international community must do everything to support peace, tolerance, and respect for the rights and faiths of all.

If you want to understand modern antisemitism, you need to go back to Moscow in 1982.
This is the cover of Mahmoud Abbas’s thesis, later published as The Other Side: The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism.
Abbas is not just another Palestinian politician. He is the President of the Palestinian Authority, Chairman of the PLO, and the man Western governments have treated for decades as a partner for peace.
Yet Abbas wrote his thesis in the Soviet Union, promoting Holocaust distortion and the antisemitic conspiracy theory that Zionists collaborated with the Nazis.
But the story goes much further.
Documents from the Mitrokhin Archive identified Abbas as a KGB agent in Damascus in 1983, operating under the codename “Krotov,” meaning “Mole.” Think about what this means: The man who leads the PLO today was KGB agent.
For decades, the Soviet Union weaponized the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It supported Palestinian organizations and systematically repackaged antisemitism in the language of anti-Zionism, anti-imperialism and anti-colonialism.
Abbas emerged from this Soviet political environment and maintained close relations with Moscow. Russia continues to exploit the Palestinian issue to expand its influence, destabilize Western societies and undermine Western alliances.
And here is what I find extraordinary.
The West has allowed itself to be overwhelmed by a political narrative shaped by one of the most successful and enduring influence campaigns in modern history.
An entire generation has been taught to see the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through an ideological framework that was cultivated decades ago by Soviet propaganda.
Today, that framework has found powerful new allies in the Red-Green alliance between radical progressive movements and Islamist organizations.
The accusations have barely changed. Zionists are Nazis. Israel is responsible for the world’s suffering. Jews are portrayed as powerful conspirators controlling governments, media and wars.
What Soviet propaganda once spread through political organizations, universities and intelligence networks is now amplified by social media algorithms, influencers, university campuses and mass demonstrations across Western cities.
The technology has changed. The distribution has accelerated. But the ideological foundations remain remarkably familiar.
And the most disturbing part? Many Western institutions, politicians and intellectuals have embraced elements of this narrative without questioning where it came from or whose geopolitical interests it serves.
The Palestinian cause has become far more than a national movement. It has also been exploited as an instrument of ideological warfare against Israel, Jews and the democratic West.
Abbas’s 1982 thesis is not simply a disturbing historical document. It is a window into the ideological origins of a campaign whose influence we continue to witness today.

Ukrainian POW returned from Russian captivity in prisoner exchange had “Jew” carved into his back. Putin isn’t fighting Nazis, he IS the Nazi.
This is intellectual nihilism - the open embrace of arbitrary statements that are not even contradictory in Tucker's mind because his thoughts bear no relation to anything that makes them discernible as either true or false.
As far as I'm aware, Ayn Rand was the first philosophy to identify the epistemic category of the "arbitrary," as distinct from ideas that are true or false, and the key function of the arbitrary in the service of evil. Tucker is an embodiment of Rand's epistemic and moral theory, and evidence of its truth.

The facts: Two Palestinian terrorists opened fire at a security checkpoint after realizing they wouldn't be able to reach their real attack target: a highway full of civilians.
Two IDF soldiers were killed in the attack.

WTF, @NBCNews?!
Two IDF soldiers were killed this morning by Palestinian terrorists who were planning to attack Israeli civilians on a busy highway but were thwarted by an IDF checkpoint.
NBC's coverage makes it sound like Israeli "settlers" carried out the shooting attack.

There was a stretch where Democrats sounded genuinely alarmed by the alt-right and white supremacists.
AOC just sent $1M to Abdul El-Sayed. His latest ad leans on Tucker Carlson’s endorsement. Tucker Carlson.
This is the guy she correctly labeled a “white supremacist sympathizer,” said was “very clearly” inciting violence, blamed for a flood of death threats, and called “trash,” “a creep,” and “basura.”
Turns out principles are negotiable if the bigot is on your side.
Look what a $1 million donation from Rep. AOC in NYC gets a candidate running for Senate in Michigan: a "Michigan First" ad.
A head-turning new "Michigan First" ad from @AbdulElSayed - he names some issue he agrees with MAGA voters on, then plays a supercut of Fox News hosts/Tucker praising him or bashing Mike Rogers. semafor.com/article/10/23/20…

Eventually, every key IDF airstrike in Gaza will be proven to have killed combatants. Airwars is updating its incident reports as Gazans acknowledge their combatants. An airstrike at Kamal Adwan Hospital was initially reported as killing 2 civilians—now we know both were Hamas.

Abdul El-Sayed, on the previous night's debate: "He just pointed at me and said, well, he's Muslim."
What Mike Rogers actually said: "You could pray any way you want…This is about an ideology, an ideology that's banned in five Muslim countries."
The question is about the El-Sayed family's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and his own 2012 statement urging its president, Mohamed Morsi, to "purge the media and the police."
Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed blurs the line between Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood, and hopes voters don't know there's a difference.
