BRICS Is Building A Parallel Financial System — With GOLD At Its Core Please ❤️like, bookmark🔖, and 🔁share with fellow investors In this Short video, Andy Schectman of @MilesFranklinCo and @AdamTaggart discuss how BRICS nations are quietly building a parallel global financial system, with GOLD at its core, and why this transformation could have enormous implications for gold prices in the years ahead. * While investors remain focused on gold's recent price weakness, something far more significant is happening behind the scenes: countries across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond are constructing the infrastructure to make physical gold an integral part of international finance. Hong Kong is leading the charge. Recently ranked the world's freest economy by the Fraser Institute, Hong Kong is taking major steps toward financializing gold. Its Project Ensemble initiative supports digital settlement using tokenized central bank money, with approximately 20 banks involved. Even more importantly, the system is advancing toward allowing 400-ounce physical gold bars to be traded and settled digitally between financial institutions. * Think about what that means. Gold sitting in a vault could become active financial collateral, supporting lending, financing, and transactions around the clock without requiring the physical metal to move. Hong Kong is also developing same-day gold settlement in Chinese yuan, scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. But this is only one piece of a much bigger picture. * Andy explains that he previously believed BRICS might eventually introduce a unified currency. He now sees a different strategy emerging: rather than creating a single currency, these nations are connecting their existing payment systems, gold vaults, and settlement infrastructure. From Shanghai and Hong Kong to Singapore, Mumbai, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Moscow, and Saint Petersburg, an interconnected network is taking shape. The gold vaults are the arteries. The cross-border payment systems are the veins. Interoperability connects everything. * And gold could become the mechanism for settling financial imbalances between participating nations. Initiatives such as mBridge demonstrate how countries are developing cross-border payment capabilities that operate independently of traditional Western financial infrastructure, including SWIFT. The objective isn't necessarily to replace the Western financial system but to create a credible alternative that challenges its dominance. * This also helps explain why so much physical gold is moving from Western markets toward Asia. These countries aren't simply accumulating gold as a reserve asset – they're positioning it to become a functional component of an entirely new financial architecture. And that's why he remains so bullish. * Despite gold's recent sell-off and deeply oversold technical conditions, Andy believes the long-term fundamentals point toward substantially higher prices. He suspects Western institutions may also be accumulating metal while prices remain depressed, although that remains his interpretation. Could gold fall further? Absolutely. But Andy hopes the $4,000 level will establish a major floor. * The bigger story isn't simply where gold trades tomorrow. It's how the global financial system is evolving around it. Gold may be transitioning from a passive store of value into an essential asset for collateral, lending, and international settlement. And if Andy's thesis proves correct, the market may be dramatically underestimating what that transformation could mean for gold's long-term value. #gold $GLD * Watch the full breakdown in this Short video 🔽 * 💡 Get access to notes with the key takeaways from this interview by visiting Thoughtful Money Substack (link in the @AdamTaggart 's bio OR in the tweet below)

That AI just giving you the answer would kneecap Google's pay-per-click sponsored links business model has seemed obvious to me since its implementation Why has it taken so long for Wall Street to wake up to this risk?

Gold & silver prices recently fell to new lows for the year last week and then bounced hard following the US election Was this price capitulation by sellers? And if so, is the bottom now in? Andy Schectman of @MilesFranklinCo gives his take in the video in the comments below

LOL Just called one of the masons Grok Bot recommended...and it turns out he's a Thoughtful Money viewer!!
Lots of folks are asking me for specific examples of how I'm using Grok Bot It's taking over a TON of the more manual tasks in my day-to-day work. I'm not going to share details for confidentiality reasons. But I will share an example from the Life side: As you know I'm building a house. Grok Bot is helping me with the interior design. I gave it this photo and Grok Bot designed the room for me after I told it what theme I was going for. We went back & forth tweaking the details until it got to a point I really like. It then gave me a list of local vendors who can do the stone and woodwork, along with contact info & reviews of each. Then it sent me links to where I can buy the furniture it depicted. I then uploaded the floor plan for the entire house and we continued designing, room by room. This is just ONE example of what Grok Bot can do. And you don't need to know anything about tech to use it. You just talk to it like a regular person.
