Here's the thing, Dom is their biggest star and they know it. Dom = numbers. We've all seen it. And Rey vs Dom will be the biggest story in wrestling. I'd put them as the most prominent on the poster too (over their champion, because numbers are numbers and Dom brings that).

Looks like Rey & Dom's story will be front and center in AAA. And as I said, it's gonna overshadow everything...as it should because it's gonna be the biggest story in wrestling. No offense to El Grande Americano but it's telling the Undertaker posted this poster. Hell they took Dom off TV for 3 months just so EGA could get over, so it's only fair. Dom has motion.

While I do appreciate the jokes celebrating Dominik not having to be in Judgment Day anymore because he wasn't at the Texans game, if he had gone the optics would have been bad for him.
Going from the main character in AAA last night to a side character this morning would have been bad.
He's about to be in the biggest storyline of his career and it's gonna represent an enormous shift for him. He can't be seen as a side character in a group that has historically seen success largely because he became a part of it.
He was a side character to others the last 2 weeks on RAW, but we do have to be fair and also point out he was a main character on RAW in Mexico a few weeks ago. There's a way Liv & Dom can be support in each other's storylines as long as both of them have their own feuds. In fact, that's how you guarantee lots of TV time and I've always felt that makes them the stars of the show when it's done that way. They're woven throughout the show and have 5-6 segments.

Not sure how I feel about the whole angle with Dorian accusing his mother of an affair with Rey during her induction ceremony. Dom wasn't out there so probably not a huge part of their story. But it does feel like Rey & Dom's feud starts in AAA. It feels like it's close too. Dom and Rey's story overshadowed the feud with El Grande Americano and will overshadow whatever EGA does going forward. Which is funny because they took Dom off AAA TV for 3 months so EGA could get over. Would be ironic if they did the same to EGA...because Rey & Dom will be the biggest thing going for AAA.
I noticed Dom calling spots in the match with El Grande Americano last night. Thought this match was better than their 1st one which was over produced. Nothing against Pete Dunne, but letting Dominik wrestle is always a win. Also, as mentioned Kaiser was not 100% in their 1st match so I think they did that to protect him.
